It's back: Art of the Week #9! Congratulations Nekoban Ryo!

New year, new AotW! I hope you've all been practicing your skills over the holiday hiatus, because PokéBeach's Art of the Week is back!

Based on the complexity of last round's AotW, I figured it would be best to boost participation up a bit. Therefore, there will be no theme this week! Anything goes, as long as it isn't Pokémon-related (those submissions belong in Fan Art of the Week).

Each artist will be limited to 1 entry, so choose your submission carefully! Remember: the winning entry will feature on the PokéBeach portal page for every member to see!

Deadline: Wednesday, January 18th​

Guidelines

1. Art submission.
   You can submit your own work into this contest, or others can submit work on your behalf. In such a situation, the original artist will be contacted for approval.
   ---
2. You may have only one piece of artwork submitted each week.
   This includes work you submit for yourself, and work others submit for you.
   ---
3. Constructive comments only.
   We all want this to be a fun event, so if you have something to say, make sure it's for the benefit of the artist.
   ---
4. Allowable art.
   Signatures, pictures, wallpapers, drawings, and more are all allowed. As long as it's not Pokémon-related, there's not much of a limit, so let's see what you can do!

How will this competition work?

1. Entries will be collected...
   For a fun, competitive contest, we need entries! Not only will there be more competition with more entries, but it will also be another way to showcase the artistic talent of PokéBeach members!

2. ...and pooled together for a community vote
   Voting community-style will give every artist an opportunity to win.

3. UPDATE: Important new rule!
   Instead of posting your entries here as you have been, please PM your entries to me, CMP, with the subject "AotW #9." This is important -- when I post the entries, I'll be looking for that title. If you don't title your PM that, there is a chance I may miss it. Thanks!

Thanks to the other participants as well -- everyone did a great job! For those wondering which pieces belong to who, Shampoo Thief was Entry #1, Flame Claw Entry #2, Nekoban Ryo submitted Entry #3, Entry #4 was NidoJosh's, and Entry #5 was submitted by X-5.

I'll be posting it soon, Shampoo Thief, don't worry! I was debating on having a themed round or not, and was ready to post AotW #10 but got sick last week...between that and having three exams things got pretty crazy. Still not feeling great, but I'll post it tomorrow to keep the Wednesday-Wednesday schedule. =)
