Paul Martin * - What do you think of the way the picture goes out of the border?
Revised, 4 January 2007.

Magikarp - Would YOU use this in a deck?

Not really a Pokémon, but I wanted to make one of these anyway - Sorry about the white background.
Revised, 4 January 2007. Sorry about the bad picture quality.

Jean Chrétien was the 20th Prime Minister of Canada, from 1993-2003.

I think the Magikarp thinggy is half Magikarp/ half Feebas or whole Feebas...
The picture was from an episode of the Pokémon anime, when Team Rocket buys a Magikarp, thinking it's a Feebas. Once they put it in the water, however, the Feebas disguise begins to wash off.

... the last one is so broken!!
I used Pidgeot (EX FRLG), Salamence δ (EX DS), and Charizard δ (EX CG) as "guides".
1. Defend: Pidgeot did 40 damage, plus preventing retreat, for two Colorless. "Trade in" the retreat prevention for 10.
2. Mega Claw: I should really change that, actually. Maybe add another Colorless or change it to 50.
3. Giga Blaster: I looked at Salamence δ's Delta Blast and Charizard δ's Metal Burn. I settled on 100 for (approximately) Metal Burn's cost, and gave an option to do 50 to two of the opponents' Pokémon. Should I add another Colorless or Fire to that?
Now, I should probably put a Water weakness on that... and maybe a background too...

I may have time to do that. All I need are the guidelines and pictures; my artistic ability is very limited, especially with Pokémon.

The Feebas is refracting in the water making it look like a magikarp at the back. I guess...

Defend: 40 is much better IMO
Mega Claw: 40 making it less broken
Giga Blaster: Applying Weakness makes it Broken Mostly, plus looking at those to: Aggron Ex cant attack with Mega Burn (or w/e) twice in a row and Salamence needs to discard. so is Ninetails Ex

Let it not APPLYINg Weakness and resistance and let it just do to the defending 100 with something else. or 50/40 to 2 pokés

Weakness should be Used. and most of all... Making it HOLO =}

should make it less broken...

I'm going to fix up all your cards because I think you are a good faker. Your wording's a bit off, but that's all right since I'm going to tell you how it should be. I'll also share with you how you can make them better (as far as gameplay goes):

Jean Chrétien ex

Incoherency is a power, and should be worded as such:

"Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, Jean Chrétien ex does 50 more damage to the Defending Pokémon until the end of your next turn. If tails, your turn ends. This power can't be used if Jean Chrétien ex is affected by a Special Condition."

Words in italics are never bolded.

Both of Jean Chrétien ex's attacks cause damage, and the power is self-referencing, and he's a Basic (no lower form attacks to copy), so the bit about +50 to attacks that have no damage is irrelevant; I removed it. Also, your turn ends when you attack anyway, so having your turn end when you attack and use the power is not only pointless, it removes the downside from using the power. And while we're still on the subject of the power, adding +50 to either of his attacks is very, VERY broken. I suggest getting rid of it altogether. That leaves the card very bland, so in its place you should craft another power. Look at real cards for wording tips.

Moving on to the HP, 180 on any Basic is extremely broken, even for a Basic -ex. Cut it down to 120 at the most. As far as the attacks go, Hyper Voice is a little overpowered. Illumination is okay. I'm not sure why he's weak to Metal and Fighting, so I won't get into that... and since Jean Chrétien ex is so powerful already, I suggest increasing the Retreat Cost to at least two, probably three.

Paul Martin *

The correct wording for Spiral Shrinkage can be taken directly from Mr. Stone's Project, with proper word substitutes.

Defeated is broken. Wait until they have one Prize remaining, then use the attack and have your opponent discard their entire deck. There's no way to make this attack fair; get rid of it.

Everything else looks good.

Magikarp

Um... at least it's worded correctly. I wouldn't use it.

MetalGreymon

Defend is a little strong. You can't just substitute things for damage. No card pays two for 50 with no drawback. Forty damage is plenty fine.

Mega Claw is horribly broken. The ability to give 60 damage to anyone you want is extremely powerful, and having it only cost two Energy is unfair. Look at the other cards that can snipe. Kyogre ex CG does it for 70, but you need to discard 2 Energy. The attack costs 3 Energy. Steelix ex does it for 100, but you need to discard two of four required Energy. These beasts have drawbacks not to mention -ex status, two traits MetalGreymon doesn't have. The last sentence should instead read "(Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)" Otherwise, they get applied, and now you'll be sniping things for 120 that have Fire or Metal weak.

And never, never auto-paralyze. Multi Technical Machine 01 can get away with it because it's a one-shot thing. Use it, discard it, done.

Giga Blaster can be copied verbatim from Salamence ex DF's Dual Stream attack. Substitute the appropriate damage figures.

No Weakness and two Resistances is hardly fair... but I don't know anything about Digimon.

It's broken. Too broken. Leave Digimon out of the PTCG. :p

Thank you.

Jean Chrétien ex - Revised.

Paul Martin * - Revised.

MetalGreymon - Revised. (Sorry about the bad picture quality.)

Stéphane Dion ex - New.

to be fare, Metalgreymons Last attack Cost is top Mucvh =} just make it (R)(M)(C)(C), or something like that. Cretién Ex should have an attack that makes itself Confused, or look at Machoke (LM)'s PokéBody ;). Dion Ex needs an attack that makes it , well special Conditioned IMO. srry

i would make a deck with Metalgraymon :D or with Jack Layton ex... :D ... Why dont u make George Bush ex :)
