Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

Coinflips are kind of annoying, I wish that ability were a bit more exploitable...

I had this thought yesterday; sure, we won't get a Slowbro BREAK (and now we definitely know that as we have Slowking), but what's stopping a Slowking BREAK?

That's a strong ability. Slowking can wipe its opponent's active of energy, having it stranded with no way to attack. It's going to be a really annoying card to play against.

You even could choose a type specific special energy and attach it to an other type pokemon to discard it.
(Exp. Special Dragon Energy to Shaymin)
I think he is usefull.

Excellent card for control decks. Energy switch and cards that deny poké-powers will be needed against it. God, it's really annoying.

You could play more than one for the ability and then use Lysandre. You could really slow your opponent down or let m run out of energy.

I don't think its horrible because unlike sylveon it is an ability and you can have multiple of them in play so maybe this card may be with seismitoad so the player can use less hammers and still slow your opponent down, but it doesn't discard the energy so it makes it a bit more fair rather than it discarding the energy. Would be bad in fairy box decks or when you are about to knock out one of their pokemon because arometise can move the energy back and if you get a knock out you justsave the energy. I do like the artwork.

This Slowking isn't what I hoped. It's ability is based off of a coin flip. The attack is pointless and it clogs up your bench. At least Sylveon wasn't based off of a coin flip. But it is an ability, so there is hope fit the poor guy.

I'm surprised there's no text stating you can only use King's Inspiration one per turn. With that said, the ability to use multiple Slowking, and the fact this is only stage 1, means this card has potential.

Question is, what deck would appreciate this over Crawdaunt? Can't really say Toad, because it can't exactly kill whatever you move the energy to...

@jessalakasam Even if they do attack with Shaymin to get everything back, you still slowed them down, and in most cases, they're still limited to 1 attachment per turn.

still I may run it and if I do it's to get rid of Special Energy
