We all know they both have a rivalry. But if they were in a real match who would win? I vote for Jigglypuff. There is an episode of a fight between Jigglyuff and Clefairy but if they were locked in a steel cage who would win? In the poll I accidently pressed Clefairy.

i love clefairy and the fact that it can be male. 
Plus, it can use Metronome, which I also taught my Hypno in LeafGreen. Best. Idea. Evur.
What if that Clefairy blasted that Jigglypuff into the sky with a Metronome'd Hyper Beam? Or any other array of random moves? Yai.
Clefairy was also considered to be the anime's official mascot, but they chose Pikachu instead.

I heard it was supposed to Jigglypuff. They said that is why Jigglypuff followed Ash around in all those episodes, and Kirby resembles a Jigglypuff.

Jiggly was a lot later in the anime. :s This would have to be a decision made BEFORE the anime had started, not afterwards. Jigglypuff might signify their consideration for it, perhaps. *Shrugs*
