RE: Jun's Adventure!(A Pokemon Acanthite Fanfic)
Because members can now legally revive THEIR OWN fanfics and THEIR OWN shops, I can post this now. Pokebeach now is up to date on this story and has the part of chapter 6 I have written.
Chapter 2 11-12-08
Reptide, now enraged, sent a fury of water beams hurtling everywhere and missing nothing. Kindlejou ran for its life, hiding behind Jun for protection. Frondilio fired a Vine Whip at the blast and it created an explosion. In the smoke, Fire types are empowered so naturally, Kindlejou took this chance to send a blazing Ember at Frondilio, burning it slightly. Reptide was calmed down but Torrent was not stopped. Reptide tackled Frondilio from the back. Frondilio, while retracting his Vine Whip, was tipped over and was knocked out.
“Frondilio is unable to battle,” said Professor Willow as he put Frondilio in front of Jun and handed him a Pokeball. Reptide stared at Jun adoringly and sadly. Taking advantage of this, Kindlejou ran up for a KO Scratch, but then stopped before he hit Reptide and withdrew his paw. He found out that this Reptide was a Substitute. Kindlejou looked all around for Reptide and finally saw him in the sky with water spiraling out of his mouth. Uh oh, Whirlpool, what can I do? Kindlejou thought to itself. Suddenly, he had an idea, use Dig when the whirlpool comes down, then use Ember on the ground above him and Tackle up for a Blazing Tackle. Brilliant! Kindlejou jumped in the air and sent itself like a torpedo into the ground. Kindlejou then dug extra tunnels incase of an emergency. Kindlejou was already taking a chance because of the type difference. Kindlejou set the whole thing ablaze and forgot about the time and Whirlpool came through and flooded the whole tunnel. Kindlejou kept digging until he had made a whole maze and at the center an underground battlefield. On the upper floor, the humans were wondering what was going on and realized that if one fainted, they would never know unless the tunnel becomes a sprinkler or the tunnel became a volcano, and that only happening if Blaze or Torrent is activated. Back underground, Kindlejou had realized the same thing and so had Reptide, so they dug the humans a pitfall and they came down to the battlefield. It looked like a Pokemon battlefield, but only more suited to the rock terrain, meaning Kindlejou had an advantage if he set the rocks on fire, but that is only if. Reptide would make the rocks ground type, giving him an advantage, so Kindlejou wouldn’t be Jun’s first Pokemon. Take note Foreshadowing Jun was watching silently as the two stared at each other. Kindlejou lunged at Reptide with a Bite and he countered with a Tail Whip, slamming it into a rock. For Kindlejou, because of its low health, this would trigger Blaze, so this would be bad. Reptide had already triggered Torrent, and was not in a rage but was not whiny like usual. Jun, who was going to pick his Pokemon too, (He had a choice) was looking at how these Pokemon could battle. Kindlejou, his first choice, was a pretty good battler. Frondilio, his third choice, looked bold and was always grinning. Reptide, his second choice looked like a good partner. Jun wanted them all; maybe he would get them, since he has heard things about his family and how they could befriend any Pokemon, including Legendaries. Kindlejou was now infuriated, and had fire all around him, similar to a cloak. Kindlejou started to set the whole underground tunnel ablaze and Reptide charged up a Hydro Cannon. Kindlejou bounced off the walls and started charging up a Blast Burn. They let go and the two hit. The battlefield was damp and musty. Reptide was in his own little pool of water. Kindlejou was in a circle of flames, in a little ball, unmoving, unconscious.
Chapter 3 11-14-2008
There he was, surrounded by a circle of flames, unmoving, unconscious. Everyone was staring, silently wondering what was going on. Reptide got up from his pool, came closer to the circle of fire, and put it out. Everyone now saw what had happened to the Live Flame Pokemon, they just couldn’t believe it. Had the little guy been overworked? What happened to him? Suddenly, all the flames went out and the water steamed. The battle was over.
“The bat-“ Professor Willow choked.
“The battle is over. Reptide wins.” Said Jun in a mournful voice. He walked up to Kindlejou and held him in his arms. Kindlejou didn’t move; just lay there, in his arms, like a statue. Reptide walked up to Jun and said, “Reptide. Rep, Rep.” Jun, obviously not knowing what this meant, grew angry with Reptide for killing Kindlejou.
“You, you monster!” Jun screamed at Reptide, ignoring the fact that it is very sensitive.
“Jun, I will take Kindlejou to the hospital. You should get to know Reptide. When you are done, I have some news for you. Oh yeah, make friends with Frondilio, too.”
Frondilio was looking at Jun with a grin, as always, and attempted to walk up to Jun but fell, remembering the burn Kindlejou had given him, which had now turned into scorching pain. Jun had walked up to Frondilio, ignoring Reptide’s loud sobs, and introduced himself.
“Hi, I am Jun Dilophrill. How are you doing today, Frondilio?”
Frondilio replied with, “Frondilio. Fron. Fron.” Jun still didn’t know what that meant. He planned to buy a Pokemon translator from the nearest Pokemart. Reptide had now grown mad at Jun, for it had not been HIS fault Kindlejou had died; Kindlejou had been attacked by something else. Boulders were flying when the explosion happened and we wouldn’t know who attacked Kindlejou until he recovers from his unconsciousness. Hopefully Jun would by a Pokemon Translator and Reptide could explain everything. Then again, Jun is mad at Reptide because he thinks that he killed Kindlejou. Reptide went up to Frondilio and told him about what happened when he was gone and how when he got the translator he could help them all. Frondilio agreed, also worrying for the well being of Kindlejou. Jun had calmed down a bit and went to give Reptide a hug, and he accepted. Jun said, “ I am sorry for blaming you, I just jumped to conclusions because you are the higher type and you are so strong. I have one question though, What were those silver boulders that looked connected? I noticed them sinking deeper and deeper during the explosion.”
That made dead silence spread all throughout the cave. Reptide and Frondilio had the same thoughts, Knuckout did this. He had made Kindlejou unconscious. He was the reason for this whole thing. He had almost killed Kindlejou. Quick, we have to get those translators before we are killed! Reptide and Frondilio glanced at each other, and beckoned Jun to follow them and went up the tunnel. Jun followed. When they came out of the cave, they ran to the Pokemart, and pointed at the translators. Jun knew what they were getting at, picked up three translators, pulled out some money out of his leather Reptide wallet, handed the items and the money to the cashier, and…
“Jun! Come quickly! Kindlejou is in a coma!” Professor Willow burst in, panting.
Jun, having bought the translators, put them on Reptide and Frondilio and they started talking.
“We know who put Kindlejou in a coma!” Reptide said abruptly.
“It was a Pokemon called Knuckout.” Frondilio said calmly.
“Knuckout ruled the underground for a while, then he was driven out by a bunch of Solaccoon, Kindlejou’s final evolution. We thought he was gone, but apparently he is back. He probably put Kindlejou in a coma thinking that he is one of the leader’s kin. Kindlejou is now suffering because of this tyrant and our lives are at risk because of all of the new trainers. Jun, you will get Frondilio, Kindlejou, and me. In Sinnoh, you probably met Ash; he is on the boat on his way here. His Torterra could help get rid of Knuckout, but he can’t because he is not here. So we will have to drive him out. That means Frondilio and I, with the possibility of Kindlejou if he recovers in time.” Said Reptide in a wise way.
“We can talk more at the hospital, but we have to go see Kindlejou!” Jun said, with worried loudness in his voice.
As soon as they got to the hospital, they saw Kindlejou all bandaged up, and they saw the pulse radar, it went, “Beep, Beep, Beep, BEEEEEEEEP” Everyone had heard it, they just couldn’t believe it.
Chapter 4 11-15-08
They couldn’t believe it, but they didn’t know that they were looking at the wrong radar. Abruptly, the doctor came in and said, “Don’t mind that radar. It has been used for dramatic movies shot here. This is the radar you want to see.” He pointed to a pulse radar that was beeping steady and calmly. Everyone was relieved and wondering why would there be a fake pulse radar here instead of on set? There was silence. Reptide broke the silence and said, “ We have to discuss what we are going to do. Kindlejou is in a coma and we don’t know if he will come out or not. Knuckout is on the loose, and we have nothing. What will we do?” More silence.
“We will have to find help or defeat him alone.” Professor Willow said.
“Ok, then. Reptide and I will look on one half of the town and Professor Willow and Frondilio will take the other half. I will let the doctor know to keep us up to date on Kindlejou. If he survives we can have more help but not a lot, remember, he will just be coming out of a coma. Ash, please come. Let us hope that Kindlejou will make it.” Jun said.
“Got it.” Everyone said.
Meanwhile….
“Heheheh, those humans and Pokemon will pay for what they did to me. Soon, they shall all perish.” Said Knuckout in a deep, scary voice.
An army of Bouldon and Jabadon replied, “Yes, master.”
Back to the hospital…
“So, lets go!” Everyone said.
1 hour later, at the hospital…
Kindlejou tossed, turned, and fell out of bed. He woke up, as soon as he did, the fire burned slightly around him. Blaze had still been activated. He looked around and then remembered the tunnel. Everyone is in danger. I have to go and stop Knuckout and his army! Kindlejou thought to himself. Kindlejou sat up and climbed up to the window, wobbling, for he had not yet fully recovered. He should stay in bed, but he had to help his friends. If it were not for Reptide’s Hydro Cannon, Kindlejou would have died. Frondilio didn’t faint because of Ember; the Ember just skimmed Frondilio, leaving a burn and some pain. Ember was actually aimed at the wall, so he could become stronger because of lava. Frondilio had been sucker punched in the smoke, but by what? No time to think now, I must save my friends! Kindlejou jumped out the window, aiming for the mattress that was conveniently located below. When Kindlejou was in mid air, a shock of pain shot through him. He had barely recovered from his coma. Blaze was turned in overdrive; Kindlejou’s hair stood straight up and was spiked. Kindlejou’s claws were as sharp as razors. His playful teeth had turned into lethal fangs. His adorable eyes had turned from gold tinted to blood red. He had lost his pupils, just blood red. Kindlejou was cloaked in flames of rage. He should have stayed in bed and recovered. Kindlejou sent a Flare Blitz flying across the sky, turning it into flames.
Meanwhile…
In a waterfall cave in the clouds, lay Chalrain and Anjewl. They had been awakened from their deep sleep. They had felt a power they haven’t felt ever since they fought alongside Dan Dilophrill against Geminine and Diavil. They knew that if they didn’t stop this power soon, they would have a great war. They would have to find Dan Dilophrill to aid his son in stopping the power. They took flight
Somewhere, in a cave located in a volcano…
Diavil and Geminine were also awakened from their deep sleep. They would harness this power and use it for evil. They set flight for Kindlejou.
On a boat…
Ash Ketchum was on the bow of the boat looking straight ahead. He would meet his friend Jun there. He saw the sky turn a fire like shade and he saw something on fire in the sky. It had fire spurring from all over. To the West, he saw two demon- like figures soaring toward to the fire. To the East, he saw an angel like creature and an angel like dragon flying toward Jun’s house.
“Huh,” Ash said, with his Pikachu on his shoulder and Infernape and Torterra beside him. “Must be one of Metro’s native Pokemon. Whatever it is, I am going to find out what it is once I find Jun!
Chapter 5 11-15-2008
Ash couldn’t take it anymore. He walked up to the captain, handed him his ticket, and took out his prized Staraptor. The majestic bird was as proud as ever. It was so glad that it took out Elite Four Aaron’s whole team single winged. He returned his Infernape and Torterra, they had just fought against Elite Four Cynthia. Her daughter was traveling with Ash to Metro to start her adventure with Jun.
“Cynthia! It is time to go! We are riding on Staraptor!” called Ash.
A young blond haired girl with a black ribbon in her hair appeared. She was wearing a shirt with the Metro starters on it. She was wearing sneakers and jeans.
“Do you know where Jun will be?” She asked anxiously.
“He told me to meet him at his dad’s house. So I think he will be there.” Ash replied.
“Ok, I am so excited! He beat my mom! Jun is sooo cool!” Cynthia said in a giddy voice.
“Hey, I beat your mom too!” Ash said as he boarded the bird.
“Yea, but Jun beat her first, and you came right after him. So Mom wasn’t at full power. But you still are cool. ” Cynthia said, settling on the majestic bird.
“Hey, I lost to him in rock paper scissors! I still beat him after I beat your mom.” Said Ash defensively.
Staraptor took off. The sky was beautiful. The sun was beaming, there was a clear sky, and the temperature was perfect. There was a nice breeze half of the way, and then it got windy. Pikachu was hanging on for its life. Ash thought quick and sent out Floatzel to follow them incase they fall. Pikachu sneezed (What a perfect time to sneeze) and fell. Ash jumped after Pikachu, leaving Cynthia to ride by herself.
“Pika!!” Pikachu screamed as it fell through the sky.
“Pikachu! I’ll save you!” Ash yelled as he dove for his best friend.
“Uggh, Ash!!!!” Cynthia complained as she was left alone to fly the bird.
Floatzel leaped out of the water and caught both of them. He then dived back into the water.
“Phew, they are safe.” Cynthia said with relief.
Staraptor, looking down at the ocean to see if his master was okay, didn’t notice that it was about to run into Kindlejou’s blazing flame.
“Starrrrrr!” Squawked Staraptor. He tossed, swerved, turned, but he couldn’t avoid the flame. Chalrain and Anjewl noticed this, so did Diavil and Geminine. They charged a Dark Flamethrower while Chalrain and Anjewl swooped in majestically and saved them.
“You-you’re ..” Cynthia said, out of breath
“Chalrain and Anjewl, at your service.” Introduced Chalrain.
“What are you guys doing here?” Asked Cynthia.
“Well, we are actually here to come and help Dan Dilophrill.” Explained Anjewl.
“Why Jun’s dad?” Cynthia asked, wanting to know everything.
“He has kids? Well, I guess it has been a long time since we saw him. Anyways, we have just awoken from our deep sleep. We felt a power surge that was off the charts. We came to help Dan with his training his son, Jun. Jun must be at least trained before he can start his adventure. We have come to speed up that process. We have come here for another reason. We need Dan to help stopping that power surge felt earlier. That fire that we saved you from, it was Jun’s Kindlejou, he had just woke up from a coma and he thought that his friends were underground. He jumped out the window, and pain shot all through out him. Blaze had already been activated, so it was put in overdrive. Now he has been running across the sky somehow, and all it looks like is a firey star shooting across the sky. The war that is about to happen is because Knuckout is back, and he started this without even knowing by putting Kindlejou in a coma.” Anjewl explained.
“Awww, poor Kindlejou! Where is Jun?” Cynthia said sympathetically.
“Jun is looking for help with Reptide on one half of the town and Professor Willow is with Frondilio on another half of the town.” Chalrain said.
“We are here.” Said Anjewl.
“I will go back and drop Ash off with Jun.” Chalrain said.
“Ok.” Said Cynthia.
Cynthia walked into the door to Jun’s house.
“I’m here!” said Cynthia.
Chapter 6 11-18-08
“Oh, Cynthia. Jun isn’t here right now but you can wait here until he comes back.” Jun’s mom said.
“Ok, Mrs. Dilophrill.” Cynthia said.
“Hey, Jun! Up here!” Ash yelled as Chalrain was circling to land near Reptide.
“Chalrain? What are you doing here?” Reptide said, wondering what he doing here. “I haven’t seen you since you helped Kindlejou’s mom and dad defeat Knuckout.”
“Reptide! Well, I was heading toward this glowing ball of fire. It had awoken us because of its massive power surge. Anjewl and I were going toward it when we saw a Staraptor fly close to the flame. He was thrown off balance but we saved him. The flyer or pilot was Cynthia, daughter of the champion from Sinnoh. Ash jumped off to save Pikachu before they crashed. Once we arrived at Jun’s house, I went off to get Ash, Pikachu, and Floatzel.” Chalrain explained.
“Oh snap! I forgot about Cynthia!” Jun exclaimed, remembering his meeting.
“Chalrain, can you take us to my house? We can discuss things there.” Ash questioned.
“Sure.” Chalrain happily accepted.
And they flew off, getting closer and closer to Jun’s house while Diavil and Geminine were about to harness the power of Kindlejou.
“Hehehe…. Geminega, we are about to harness this power of this young Kindlejou. Let us harness and use its power to destroy Anjewl, Geminine, and Chalrain!” Said Diavil in a menacing and malicious voice. Kindlejou had growled as if to warn to not do this.
“Yes we shall destroy the world!” Geminega said, His body engulfed in dark violet and black, with a dark blue/violet aura emitting from him. Geminega shot his right arm out, the evil aura extending to Kindlejou, mixing with the flames. Kindlejou let out a yowl of pain. Kindlejou’s lips started to turn jet-black. The flames around Kindlejou became violet/dark blue. His fangs became sharp daggers. Kindlejou’s claws became black and they spread out around his front paws. His aura had turned into a large Solaccoon. Diavil and Geminega stabbed Kindlejou on both sides of the stomach and put him over their shoulder. They returned to the volcano, having accomplished their goal, and sealing their fate.
At Jun’s house….
“Hey guys, we’re here!” Jun and Ash yelled as they jumped down from Chalrain onto Jun’s front porch. Jun’s next door neighbor, Kali, walked out of her house with her Sandillio and greeted Jun.
“Hi, Jun. What Pokemon did you get? Oh, who’s your friend?”
“Hey, Kali. It is kind of hard to tell who I got. I will explain later. This is Ash, my friend I met in Sinnoh. He is going to start an adventure with me, you, and Cynthia.” Jun replied.
“Hello, I am Ash Ketchum, and you are?” Ash introduced himself to Kali.
“I am Kali Solaccoon, nice to meet you.” Kali said.
“Same. Let’s first meet up with Cynthia, eat lunch, and meet up with Professor Willow to discuss our adventure and that star.” Ash said, beckoning everyone to follow as he walked up to Jun’s house.
The door creaked open. It was Cynthia who answered, “Jun! You’re here! Who did you get?” Cynthia asked, anxious to know all about what happened. “Ash, thanks for leaving me alone to ride into a flaming thingy!” She added briskly to Ash, still annoyed about what he did.
