Ruling Just a simple question about mew star(but plase answer)

If I attach a multi energy to mew star and use its rainbow wave can I do 30 damage to all (suppose) my opponents fire pokemon?????
would it change something if the energy was a rainbow one ???

No, the energy type you get to choose must be basic, if you want to do damage to a fire pokemon you need to have attached the basic fire energy to mew*.
And mew* does 20, 30 would be killer.

No, it says basic energy "CARD" multi energy can't provide a water energy card, but it can provice a basic water energy. Making it uneffective with mew *'s attack.
