Some nice little starters! Main thing I noticed was that Wooden Peck might be a bit underpowered - maybe make it 20+10 for each [G]? I do like how you've made them balanced so far, and hope to see it continue!

Criticim is something I will definitely be appreciating. I'll fix Rowlet now.

Abra - HP60 [P]

Weakness: [P] x2
Resistance:
Retreat: [C]

Kadabra - HP90 [P]
Stage 1: Evolves from Abra

[C] Mind Blast - 40: If you have no Benched Pokémon in play, this attack does 80 damage instead.
[P][C][C] Super Psy Bolt - 60

Retreat:

Alakazam - HP120 [P]
Stage 2: Evolves from Kadabra

Nice idea with the Baby Evolution! I do think that some of the attacks may be a bit overpowered though, Munchlax for example is a splashable, one-sided Lysandre's Trump Card that takes away the "mill" win condition, and Cleffa is basically a Zoroark Break.

*Imagines a tiny 30hp Baby Pokemon using Emerald Break*

While that is amusing, you may want to rethink a few of the conditions of each attack - maybe make it a coin flip, or something. Good work otherwise, though!

Thank you for the feedback. Some of them were broken as I was trying to get them finished, but I'll take this on board for my next batch of text-based fakes.

BUMP: Now that I've received constructive criticism, I plan on doing a text-based set, as I'm no good with image based ones. I intend to have in this set: Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, the 16 Pokémon Babies, Cranidos, Kabuto (Water), Archen (Colorless), Tyrunt (Dragon), Anorith (Grass) Scizor (Grass), and a couple of Dual-type Pokémon (like Kabutops for example). Along with them, I intend to make it 180 cards long. So if you have any Pokémon you would like to see in this set (a Pokémon that has yet to be made into a card or a Pokémon who you like, but would rather see it's second element), let me know via PM.

Forgot to mention, I'll be having 15 Trainers in the set, and 4 Special Energy cards. The 180 number excludes secret rares, Pokémon BREAK, and Pokémon-EX (which will be compatible with Evolution, just like in the EX Series)

Once I'm ready, I'll get the set list ready.

BUMP: Almost forgot to mention that my set will be named XY Dual Revenge. I'm going to try and make as many Pokémon a Dual type as I possibly can (all Dual types will be non-shiny; though please note that not all Dual type Pokémon will be Dual type (if you get the drift) as indicated by their names).

OK, maybe the set is bigger than the 180 planned, but that number was a hit and miss, so I'll let it slide.

1. Bulbasaur [G/P]
2. Ivysaur [G/P]

A Promo for the set, though not part of the set:

Kangaskhan - HP120 [C]
Basic

[C][C] Scrappy Punch - 40: If your opponent's Active Pokémon is a [P] Pokémon, this attack does 80 damage instead.
[C][C][C] Dizzy Punch - 70: Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused.

Weakness: [F] x2
Resistance:
Retreat: [C][C]

Unlike others who have set a deadline. I won't have a deadline. That way, I can complete the set in my own free time without having to rush the wording.

Hey! I like some of the cards in your set, but, it does kind of annoy me that Alakzam's AbraKadabra should instead be like "If kadabrais anywhere under this Pokemon, this attack does 70 more damage" and use the same thing for Kagnaskahn's Scrappy Punch. I'm making fakes as well and I think it's important that they are worded correctly as to make any issues. For example, one could misread Alakazam's attack and think it is 110+, instead of being just 110.

I'll correct the wording once I start converting them to image, though I do appreciate your criticism all the same.

As my last thread went bye-bye's somewhere (may have accidentally been deleted), I have decided to start a new thread from scratch. This time, for text-based fakes only.
I found your old thread buried on the 8th page (that is, after seven pages of 30 threads each), and now that it's been found, this thread has been merged! The forum search function is mighty good at finding those lost ones. ;)

I'm going to redo Abra, Kadabra and Alakazam. But only because they look a bit broken. These are based on Skyridge's Abra and Kadabra, and Diamond and Pearl's Alakazam.

Abra - HP60 -

If you have any suggestions on what card I should do, let me know, and I'll be more than happy to do a text-based fake for that Pokémon, though please select the type if that Pokémon has two types.
