neutral ref, I did recieve my end but after a month when I clearly told him at the start that I didnt want to wait a month, had many excuses, but an in-state trade should not take 5+ weeks
FAST trade, but was a little difficult to negotiate with. We got the trade done, though. Some of the cards weren't in mint condition, but the one that counted was. (A holo.)
Summary:
Would not recommend trading for collection wants if you care about mintness.
Story:
This trade was less than stellar.. part of his end was a 1st Ed.Base Set Pikachu that I stressed needed to be mint. It so wasn't--in fact, it was creased on all 4 sides of the card! Here's the pic.
I PMed him about it and got a lot of different responses like, "You didn't tell me Vending Moltres was uncommon." "I thought it wouldn't matter." "It's only worth 25 cents so I'm not going to buy another stamp just for this." "I thought it was 90% mint."
So I took it to the council and we figured out a new trade we could make since he had already traded all the cards I sent. Only he kept wanting to change it after it was finalized and took FOREVER to send his end (no way was I sending first again.) After several weeks I finally got the cards though.
They still weren't completely mint, but at least they weren't creased this time. Dents and nicks and the like on a RH Pichu AR--the rest were great though.
