Ability: Color Change
While this Pokemon is your Active Pokemon, its type is the same as your opponent’s Active Pokemon.

[C] Copy: Choose an attack on the Defending Pokemon. If this Pokemon has the required Energy to use that attack, it performs the attack.

And Black Kyurem EX is:

My question is, does Kecleon have to discard the energy when he uses Black Ballista?I'm pretty sure this has come up before during the Zoroark and Reshiboar craze, but I can't remember.

EDIT: Wait, I just read Kecleon's attack thoroughly. My bad. But what about Zoroark?

We can't issue rulings on cards not released in English yet.

As for zoroark, you do as much as you can. If you have 3 energy on it and copy black ballista, you discard all 3. If you only have a dce and foul play black ballista, you discard the dce.

To add...

You only really get stopped is if there is a restriction built into the attack itself - something along the lines of "If you can't do ________, this attack does nothing". A perfect example is Lugia EX's Plasma Gale - the user must discard a Plasma Energy or the attack fails.

This also relies to optional conditions you can't fulfill - such as Landorus EX's Land Judgment; if you want the extra 70 damage, you have to discard at least 1 Fighting Energy from the user.
