I'm not entirely sure on whether or not I need to be running Energy Retrieval. I used to play a Reshiboar deck where this was a staple, but I'm not sure how much it helps here.

Scramble Switch seems useful to save prizes and switch to a new Keldeo, but I'm open to try other Ace Specs.

Lastly, I've seen a few lists with Kyurem NV in them, but I can't tell if it's because the card is important to the list, or to be sure you have a reasonable starter since without it there are only 7 basics.

Open to any suggestions on how to keep this deck consistent.

(Tropical Beach is not an option for the time being.)

Energy Retriveal helps a ton, imo it's a key card in Keldeo/Blastoise.

Well, I run 3, but 2 should be pretty ok too I guess? I just said that because you said:

Wouldn't plain Water energy be better than Energy Search in this deck? That way you can hit Water easier, and you won't have energy problems late game. I would probably take out the Energy Search for 1-2 more Energy Retrieval and 1-2 more Waters, and if you have the space maybe another Ultra Ball or Wartortle.

Thanks for the input!

I like the searches because they thin out the deck a little bit faster to prevent bad draws late game. Ill probably still drop one to add another Retrieval though. Another Ultra Ball could find a spot too.

I would run Computer Search or Dowsing Machine over Scramble Switch. Also, I don't really like NVI Kyurem in this deck, but you could make way for a Mewtwo Ex or two or bouffalants DEX
