• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

RE: Kelga PHF Deck List Idea

It looks interesting but what is it meant to do as a strategy? What is Dialga-EX going to do with no Plasma Energy?

Dialga-EX from the new set doesn't need plasma energy. The new Metal deck will put Metal energy in the discard pile and use Bronzong and other cards to attach to their attackers

You (or OP) can't expect us to know these things
You (or OP) need to add abbreviations to Pokemon, a strategy, and a future prefix or else it will be critiqued as a modified format deck.

Firstly, allow me to advise you not to make more of these posts, Alexander, as this can be definitely construed as mini-modding, and I would like to avoid that.

Furthermore, I believe this is a moved thread as there was no prefix and this forum requires one in order to post, if I recall correctly. Not exactly his fault.

But either way, it is here now, and here there are different rules than Metagame. Let me run over those real quick so you know what you're getting into: Firstly, when posting, remember to always add in the correct prefix. Second off, always add in the proper set that certain Pokemon come from if there are two (such as the two Dialga EX, or the two Tornadus EX), just to clear up confusion. Thirdly, if you could add in a strategy for future decks and rogue decks, that would be fantastic as we can help you better when we know what you're talking about! ;) Another thing, always follow the template when you post a new thread, but since your post was more than likely moved, I apologize that you weren't given one. Final, but certainly not the least principle of the aforementioned rules, is always to add in card translations for Japanese cards. This will make everyone able to understand what your deck can do, and everyone will be on the same page.

If you would please go ahead and do that final thing, I would be much obliged.

Thanks for the advice, I will definitely follow this in the future but for now I'll give a brief description of the strategy.

Dialga EX-180 HP
M C C Chrono Wind 60
If the defending Pokémon is a Pokémon EX it cant attack next turn
M M C C Full Metal Impact- 150
discard 2 [M] energies attached to this Pokémon

Bronzong- 90 HP
Ability- Attach a [M] energy from your discard to one of your benched pokemon.
M M C Hammer In- 60

Steel Shelter- stadium
[M] Pokémon are not affected by special conditions

Aegislash EX- 170
Ability- This Pokémon cannot be damaged by Pokémon with special energy attached
C C C Slash Blast 40+
Does 20 more for every [M] energy attached

Whoops forgot the actual strategy,
When you use fullmetal impact, you discard two M and it usually gets the OHKO with a muscle band
When it is your turn again, use rush in with Keldeo EX and use bronzongs ability to get the metal back onto dialga
If you can, use the manual attachment to power up mewtwo or cobalion
After getting the energy back to use fullmetal again, use a float stone on Keldeo EX to get it back to the bench
From there you will repeat the process and use Cobalion and mewtwo as needed

Ideal T1
Active: Dialga EX DCE Muscle Band
Bench: Keldeo EX(with or without float stone) 1 or 2 Bronzor
Note: Try not to bench anything else as you might not know what deck your opponent is playing and bench space is very limited.
By T2 you should at least be able to put damage on the field and or use full metal impact.

I built a Proxy version of this deck and test it at my league and it has worked out so far, cant wait to get my hands on the actual cards!

Thank you! Just remember to add that to your original post instead of putting it as another post.

I think you might find Magnetic Storm to be a more beneficial Stadium than Steel Shelter, because KeldeoEX can already get rid of Special Conditions. With Phantom Forces comes your Dialgas, Aegislash, and Bronzongs. Unfortunately, it also comes with ManectricEX/MManectricEX, who resists Metal. Magnetic Storm will let you get the extra 20 damage back. Another thing to consider is that Dialga can only do 170 damage at once. You have to remember that tons of other people will also jump on the Metal-deck bandwagon and soon, 1/10 decks will have that 180HP CobalionEX. If you leave that with 10HP and they retreat to the Bench, it's going to be very annoying and hard to bring out. I suggest adding 1 GengarEX for it's Night Attack attack (lol) to snipe the Bench.

You can also use a couple Evosoda in order to quickly get Bronzongs out every game. The lone Catcher and Roller Skates can be removed because they really don't help when you only play one of them.

Replacements:
-1 Pokemon Catcher
-1 Roller Skates
-1 Super Scoop Up (Again, another flippy one-of)
-1 Steel Shelter
-1 AegislashEX (I don't think it's that great compared to CobalionEX, who discards special energy)
-2 Energy Switch (Energy Switch is good, but I think the two slots can be used better by other cards)

+2 Evosoda
+2 Magnetic Storm
+1 GengarEX
+1 Startling Megaphone (The deck relies on Abilities so you need to discard Tools attached to Garbodor LTR)
+1 Max Potion (Goes really great with your beefy 180HP Pokemon and ability to recycle energy quickly)

Good luck with your deck. It might also be a good idea to get CobalionEX before the price goes up any further.
