You can breed any moves in the Pokémon's whole learnset onto it via breeding. This includes TMs and moves at level 5-100. So it is the full learnset bar a few events I guess.

You should know that's not true. Only certain moves can be bred down. :p

I'm not an avid breeder (read: I've never bred a Pokémon in my life on purpose) but my sources say that every single move can be passed down through breeding.

RE: Last Day of Sign Ups is Today Sunday 6th - PokeBeach's Kingdoms

No, Celever is actually right. Here's a direct quote from Serebii about moves learned while breeding:

Serebii said:
The way the Pokémon inherits moves are based solely upon the base form's own learnset. The parents that need to know the moves are as follows;

Moves in baby's Level Up: Both Parents
TM Moves: Father (pre-XY)
Egg Moves: Father
Move Tutor Moves: Cannot be bred

I am a certified competitive Pokemon breeder* and I approve this message.

*I received my degree from the internet.

RE: Last Day of Sign Ups is Today Sunday 6th - PokeBeach's Kingdoms

TM Moves: Father (pre-XY)
Moves in baby's Level Up: Both Parents

Only moves from basic form are passed when considering level up, and no TM moves are passed.
Check Bulbapedia for Egg Moves if you like.

RE: Last Day of Sign Ups is Today Sunday 6th - PokeBeach's Kingdoms

Yes, only moves the basic Pokemon can learn by level-up are passed down, that's what I (and I'm assuming Celever) meant. And TM moves are able to passed down, as long as the father and the baby both can learn it. It's on Bulbapedia, Serebii, and just about everywhere else.

I think we've been debating two separate views of the same argument. :p
I'm just saying you can't pass Spiky Shield to Chespin, say.

RE: Last Day of Sign Ups is Today Sunday 6th - PokeBeach's Kingdoms

So we can use any TM move the basic form of a Pokémon can learn?

Afaik from breeding (and the internet), not all TMs can be passed down. I think we should stick to designated Egg Moves.

edit:
As of Generation VI, the offspring no longer inherits TM or HM moves automatically, but may still be able to inherit the move by another means: For example, Archen cannot inherit Roost as an egg move (despite being compatible with TM19), but Fletchling can (because Fletchling learns it via level-up), and Vullaby can as well (because it is a specific Egg move for Vullaby).
And:
If both parents know one or more moves that their offspring can learn by leveling up, the offspring will inherit that move. For example, Gengar and Mismagius both know Mean Look, so their child, Misdreavus (who learns the move at level 19) will know it when it hatches.

Following these two rules should get us through fine.

RE: Last Day of Sign Ups is Today Sunday 6th - PokeBeach's Kingdoms

So, sign-ups are officially closed since Sunday was the last sign-up day, yes? Can we please get an update on what is going on next? Thanks! <3

RE: Last Day of Sign Ups is Today Sunday 6th - PokeBeach's Kingdoms

Oh. Huh, I didn't even realize that they made that change. Then yeah, it would probably be best to not use TMs then.

RE: PokeBeach's Kingdoms - Looking For A Co-Host. (I Will Update The Thread Later)

Ok guys, it's been a while, I know, I am on vacations, I won't be here the next 2 days, so I won't be able to answer some stuff.

1. I need a Co-Host.

Yes, this game is a lot of hard work, so I need some help, there will be some requirements, such as why you would like to be the co-host, if I can trust you, if you're online much time or at least get connect many times. Just send me a PM why would you like to be the Co-Host. And well, the players of the game can't be the co-host.

2. Some new rules

New Battle Rule. Winning a battle is gaining 10% land, and taking a Pokémon if the opponent has more than 6 Pokémon. If the opponent only has 6 you gain 20% land instead. This does not for the first 3 days, the first 3 days you will just.... chill and get prepared, you can also do funsies. Winning also gives you a point.

Points can be earned by winning a battle (1 Point per win) or by quests (the number of ponts depend on the quest)

That's it people. :D

Any update on how this is coming along? It has been a while.

Hmmm, I guess I will need to start this this week, because next week I have bimestral exams. And there are no updates, the last changes were made last (big) post.

RE: PokeBeach's Kingdoms - Looking For A Co-Host. Updated the thread.

Since there are no other hosts, are you able to host it by yourself? If not, it might be best to put this game on hold until we can be sure you have the time to keep this game running or until more help is available.

Well, Draclord said he could help me. I don't know if he is going to be my co-host.

And well... depending of what Drac says will decide what will happen. I don't have time until May 11, around that date I expect to have finished my exams, then I will have much time.

RE: PokeBeach's Kingdoms - Looking For A Co-Host. Updated the thread.

There's probably some things the players could do even while you're busy. You can share up the map I made for people to select their countries, for example, maybe get people started on making their standards/coats of arms or whatever, too.

Oh, right, I will look for it and show it here.

Actually, you don't really need me a lot for those 2 things, just to check the coats of arms desings. And at the map stuff, all of you will decide, the names.
