Pokemon: - 11 so far

  • 4 Horsea PCL (This is what I'm abbreviating Primal Clash with; PCL)
    1 Seadra PCL
    4 Kingdra PCL (Alpha Growth)
    1 Jirachi EX
    1 Mr. Mime PLF
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

  • 4 Sycamore
    3 N
    2 Colress
    3 Skyla
    2 Lysandre
    1 Lysandre's Trump Card
    1 Dowsing Machine
    2 VS Seeker
    4 Energy Retrieval
    3 Bicycle
    4 Rare Candy
    3 Ultra Ball
    2 Dive Ball
    2 Professor's Letter
Energy: - 11

  • 7 Water Energy
    4 Lightning Energy
Strategy:
The core strategy is to keep recycling Kingdra's attack, Dragon Blast with Energy Retrieval. I'm trying to pair this deck with more Water Type Pokemon that run off of Water Energy like Empoleon DEX/PLF. This deck, while containing all 60 cards, is not ideal and I would very much like some help developing a stronger line of Pokemon. Thanks for all the help!

Kingdra - Dragon - HP130
Stage 2 - Evolves from Seadra
Alpha Growth: When you attach an Energy card to this Pokemon (except with an Ability, Attack, or Trainer card) you may attach 2 Energy Cards

[C] Gather Strength: Search your deck for up to 4 Basic Energy cards and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

[W][W][L] Dragon Blast: 150 Damage: Choose 1 [W] Energy and one [L] Energy attached to this Pokemon and discard them.

I would try 3 Silver Bangle because it already knocks out most non EX's with 150 damage so if it goes up to 180, it knocks out everything except for megas. You could also try Undulating Ocean or Training Center(Undulating Ocean may work better so make it harder for your opponent's pokemon.)

Thanks so much! Silver Bangle is definitely a good suggestion and is worth putting in. Any ideas as to what to remove? Also, do you have any advice as to what Pokemon should be added in?

I really am curious to see how good Kingdra is. Like his ability and attack pair off so well together it seems like an easy 180 every turn with silver bangle he doesn't need much help. Nobody resists dragon and still fairies aren't the most popular attackers in the format. However if you are looking for a way to counter that fairy weakness as far as I know there aren't really any good techable steel types so perhaps a strong neutral Pokemon would be good. A possible partner could me Manectric and Mega-Manectric. You already run the lightning energy and he will recycle your discard energies. Mr. Mime and Jirachi aren't incredibly useful right now. With most decks making the shift to 2 Lysandres I fear Jirachi is going to be phased out.

I also think with Seimitoads presence you way want to switch 1 Rare Candy for another Seadra. so run 4-2-4 Kingdra and 3 Candies. I'd also suggest replacing 1 Kingdra with the Plasma Freeze Kingdra. He shuffles your energies back in when you've discarded a ton and does a lot of damage in the process. His second attack may also be useful for sniping weakened Ex's or even those pesky Jotiks from Night March.

With him and Mega-Manectric I think you can bump down the energy retrieval count. I guess If I had to attempt to make changes to the deck list they would be as follows.

-1 Jirachi Ex
-1 Mr. Mime
-1 Lysandre
-2 Energy Retrieval
-1 Rare Candy
-1 Ultra Ball
-1 Kingrda
-3 Bicycle

+1 Kingdra PLF
+1 Seadra
+2 Manectric
+2 Mega-Manectric
+3 Silver Bangle
+1 Manectric Spirit Link
+1 Escape Rope
