1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?

60 damage for 1 energy i think is something that makes this card worth of being played. The downside is fire-type pokemons on bench but its own poke-power helps to snipe those pokemon. Its lighting weakness is something bad too, but 70 damage per turn is something that many of that pokemon can't stand.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?

None at this moment. I could think about a Luxray+Kingdra deck, with Bright Look to take out fire pokemon easily

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?

Any sniper can combo with Kingdra very well, i think.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

4/5. 70 damage each turn for 1 energy is a lot, but it could have problems against luxray if you don't have anything to face it.

5. How's the artwork?
Kingdra is cool in the way Primes are drawn :3

He He, I have three of this card. It rocks.

1. This card has amazing potential. Its Poke Power is a Crobat G every turn, and it's stackable. One Energy for 60 damage has great donk potential. still, it can be reduced to 20 by a fire Pokemon.

2. Kingdra is too new of a card to be a metagame deck yet, but it has donk potential, it can also be a tech to many water-type decks, with stackable 10 damage every turn.

3. Some combos this card could be used with is the Kingdra from Legends Awakened because they are the same evolution line and are fast attackers. It could also be used with Crobat G for a lot of damage spread.

4. I'd give Kingdra a 4.5/5 because its Poke Power can do a stackable 10 damage to anything, Its got high HP and low retreat cost for a stage 2, and has good energy efficiency for a stage 2, 60 damage for one energy. I have to downgrade it because if there is a fire Pokemon in play, which Kingdra is super-effective against, Its attack gets downgraded from 60 damage to 20 damage, a harsh drawback. Otherwise, Kingdra is a great card which I think will see a lot of competitive play, although now, probably, a lot of decks will tech in a fire type Pokemon to counter Kingdra.

5. I think that Kingdra by itself has cool artwork. Kingdra is my favorite Pokemon and his artwork really brings out the toughness of Kingdra. But, the prime artwork is getting boring, I wish Pokemon could go back to the 3-D effect of the Lv.X cards. Just the heads of Pokemon is getting old. I do like the glint, though. And the shading makes the Pokemon look like it has depth to it. I do like it a lot and it is my Avatar. (for now, anyway)

1.I think it would work well in a deck that has many spread cards, such as Crobat G, Gengar, and 3-4 copies of itself.
2.It works very well in spread decks, especially if you run 3-4 of them. With Crobat G and a few Kingdra Primes you could kill of the weaker benched Pokemon just with Poke-Powers!
3.You can combine it with pretty much any spread card, like Crobat G and Gengar.
4. 4.7/5. It's ALMOST perfect, but the attack needs to be better for it to stand alone. Definetley works well with spread decks, though.
5. I love the Kingdra Prime artwork, except Kingdra from Legends Awakened's artwork is better.

1. On its own, it is awesome. It can deal 60 for 1 energy, which is very fast. And it has that amazing pokepower that puts damage counters on your opponent's Pokemon.
2. Duh? Kingdra. I cannot see what else it can be used in, because a Stage 2 is not exactly the easiest tech to use.
3. Kingdra, Crobat G, Gengar SF, or anything else that snipes.
4. 5/5. It just adds to the super power of Kingdra. And it beats Donphan, the beast of the metagame. Gyarados loses to Kingdra too, I think, because the Sableye too often gets killed turn one. It's a 2 hit kill on both sides afterwards, and Kingdra can always have more of its buddies waiting, while Gyarados has to recover every time after it is dead. Against Luxray GL, you're doomed, and I don't think even a Donphan tech would help much. But there are always weaknesses in TCG, and Gyarados fares badly as well. Yes, an expert belt Gyarados can kill a Luxray GL X but it can OHKO back with Lucario GL in play. Not that Luxray destroys Kingdra without Lucario...
5. 3/5. Average. Not too ugly (remember the Mewtwo WP014?), not too stunning (I think Gengar X was the best rare-holo artwork ever).

Guiding questions:
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
Yes and no. It sure has potential, but i would chose Crobat G and some Poke-turns over that.
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
Nothing yet.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
You can use it with the Expert Belt and a LOT of Plus-Powers.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4 out of 5, just because it only needs one energy, you can put this in any deck with a couple multi/rainbow energies.
5. How's the artwork?
Kind of boring, I see how they try to make the primes fun, but i would call them more, individual.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
I think it's worth playing if only for as a tech vs donphan or instead of crobat G (always worth playing at least 1 crobat G even if u play Kingdra prime)

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
I don't know much of the meta decks but one can be run in the old Kingdra deck or in a deck by itself (i have one ^^ and its good)

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
It can be played with Gengar SF (planing on doing it my self)
or play it in a speedy deck witch 3 Kingdra prime (have it XD)

4. I can give this a 4 if its played well.

5. The artwork could have been better but i'll give it a 3 it's still nice.

[attachment=5614]one thing that has not been pointed out is Kingdra does have a metagame deck is called KingToad because of Politoad from the same
set has his poke- power leap frog can swap with Kingdra on the field
to the bench then politoad can stall but when its weak return it to the bench with its poke power then use life herbs to fully heal politoad and return him to the field to heal Kingdra.
