What is good partner with Kingdra? I want to play it on BR, but it loses to Luxray GL. Does anyone have any ideas? I have tested machamp, but I want to play something else.

IDK i never played kingdra but it might go well with donphan. Donphan vs luxray and Kingdra vs Blaziken

My kingdra (before rotation) destroyed luxchomp every time. I outsped them, getting 2-3 kingdras and 1-2 claydols first turn. IDK about now, but I think its still OK. Just play relicanth or donphan prime and your good to go. Play pokedex, poke drawer + and every other speed card you can find.

This.

I played Kingdra at nats, and I only lost to one Luxchomp. (the Senior who won, actually, so I obviously lost)

Now that claydol is gone, Kingdra isn't as fast or consistent as it used to be. To max consistency, I would just run straight Kingdra, and all the Poke Drawer, Pokedex, and Victory Medal one can possibly fit into a deck.

But, you do want to counter Luxchomp... So in that case, I would recommend Relecanth from SV if your that scared of it.

So basically you're saying its easier for you to get out multiple stage 2's than it is for them to get out a single stage 2 lv. x. I have a hard time accepting that.

^ With rare candy and bts, many things are possible.

My kingdra deck (md-on) had a t1/2 kingdra nearly every game, followed by about 1 kingdra per turn.

I believe kingdra is faster and more consistent than it's ever been. I just believe the recovery is slower without claydol.

And SSU for many Uxie/Claydol a turn. It seriously was wicked fast. The person who got 4th at Nationals played a 1-1 Donphan Prime line for straggling Luxchomp.

dmaster out.

Just ask dmaster, it was really fast. I could set soo much up in one turn it wasnt even funny. Luxchomp cant possibly set up on their first turn, while kingdra could set up claydol, set up a kingdra, SSU claydol, set up kingdra.

If you read my post here: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=87571 you will see why Kingdra Machamp is the only way Kingdra should be played if you want to WIN a big tournament.
