This is a deck I came up with when I needed to do my daily quest in PTCGO. And since I have no Dark Type EX or GX Pokemon or anything good by itself I decided to look at my cards to see what could I do.
And surprisingly this deck is pretty strong like SUM Trevenant and the new Garbodor dealing ridiculous amount of damage based on enemy cards and some blocking.

So here's the decklist. I know it can be improved and I'm actually doing some test but I'ld like to know any suggestion or tips to make it better. This may not be the best deck ever, and I don't even think it's better than any of these mentioned above but it's nice and I like to play it.

Pokémon - 17

1 Shaymin-EX
4 Sandile SUM
2 Krokorok SUM
4 Krookodile SUM
2 Oddish AOR
1 Gloom AOR
2 Vileplume AOR
1 Tapu Lele-GX GRI

Trainer Cards - 35

4 Trainers' Mail
1 Lysandre
4 VS Seeker
1 Brock's Grit
1 Rescue Stretcher
4 Rare Candy
1 Olympia
1 Skyla
1 Enhanced Hammer
2 Special Charge
1 Field Blower
2 Float Stone
3 Altar of the Moone
3 Ultra Ball
2 Choice Band
4 Professor Sycamore

Energy - 8

4 Darkness Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy

I think the strategy must be to item lock the opponent with Vileplume such that they'll have loads of items stuck in their hand. Thus, Krookodile's False Accusation attack ([C][C] False Accusation: 20+ damage. This attack does 20 more damage for each card in your opponent’s hand.) will deal more damage.

In my opinion, Vileplume and Krookodile aren't very good partners due to Krookodile being so dependent on Rare Candy (which is an item and will end locked) to get started. Perhaps it could work if you evolve to Krookodile in the usual way with Wally. Also, play 4 Forest of Giant Plants, if you can get them, so that you can get your Vileplume out in turn one or turn two.

With these modifications, the deck won't be competitive but will definitely be a fun little deck to play with your friends or online. Always happy to see people exploring fun, new decks even if they may not be the ones that win tournaments.

Yeah, I been testing and the only problem is the setup. Needs to be faster. Sometimes, with luck, I got the krokoodile doing almost 200 damage the second turn. It's ridiculous. but mostly I stuck trying to evolve it.
I'll try the giant plants stadium and some wally to see if it improves. Thanks a lot (=

Double stage two... ehhhh. Maybe a play like this would work better with Garb, but even Krookodile seems destined for the garbage bin. Which is sad because he's my favorite Pokemon of that generation.

True true. But for a deck for fun it could be fine. If you want a more proper competitive deck of the same style, I think Trevenant GUR is definitely the better bet.

I'm actually a pretty big fan of Garb/ Trev. The combo makes it a real conundrum out of playing/ holding items and doesn't let you just discard them with supporters like Plume does.

Yeah, that's what makes this deck kind of slow. Sometimes with a little luck I end up beating good decks like Volcanion or Lapras, but I know is not as competitive as other decks with the same objective. I really have more loses than wins with it but it's fun to play anyways, specially when I get bored playing Decidueye.
