So my deck is built for the thought on mainly hitting the bench. This is my first time actually trying to make a build instead of throwing powerful pokemon in to the deck and trying to win like that.

Pokemon
Mewtwo EX
Kyogre EX x2
Kyurem EX
Registeel EX Dragons Exalted
Minun DEX
Kyurem NV x3
Emolga Dragons Exalted x2
Ampharos 2-1-2 Dragons Exalted

Trainers/Supporters
Cilan x2
N x2
Cheren x2
Hooligans Jim & Cas x1
Catchers x4
Pokemon Communication x2
Energy Retrieval x2
Switch x2
Potion x3
Rare Candy x1
Super Scoop Up x2
Exp Share x1
Energy Search x2

Energy
{W}8
{C}{C}4
{L}2
Blend (LWMF) 1
Prism 1

I'm still missing 3 cards at the moment.

So for starters, Kyurem EX and Mewtwo EX are there for their power. They have no necessary part in this build only to attack in emergencies. Kyogre EX and Kyurem are the two main fronts of the deck. They aim for the benched pokemon after I use a catcher, or an ability/effect (from a Pokemon which I still haven't chosen) to pull out a pokemon with a high retreat cost and barely any energy, or attacks that require a lot to do damage. Lapras is used for it's Call for Family attack which will make it easier to pull out a Kyogre EX or a Kyurem. The Ampharos family is used mainly for his ability. The ability will help if I can pull Ampharos out fast early game before many energy are placed on Pokemon. It will stop my opponent from placing it on the benched Pokemon, and if he does it will make it easier for my Kyogre Ex and Kyurem to kill. Lastly I have one Minun for his Electricshower attack. It does 10 damage to each opposing Pokemon for one electric energy. This will help in cases of retreat when I can easily get a prize card for knocking out a really weak Pokemon on the bench.

This is my first time actually trying a deck build so please help me make it better and critique what I have made.

RE: Bench Hits

I personally think this deck has too much going on and for that reason lacks a little bit if consistency. Ampharos isn't needed IMO, and Lapras should be replaced with Emolga. You should focus on what your main form of attackers are going to be to spread that damage. Whilst you are running Kyorge EX and Kyurem, have you considered Registeel EX?

Personally, I think this is Wayyy too clunky. You really need to focus on attackers, getting them out quickly and then doing as much damage as you can early on. The ampharos isnt needed at all. Kyurem-EX takes too long to set up if its being used as an emergancy attacker. Minun isnt needed either. I think hammers would work well in this deck because you can then deny them the energy they need. This is what I would do to the deck:

- 1 Kyurem EX
- 1 Minun
- 2-1-2 Ampharos
- 2 Cilan
- 1 Hooligans Jim and Cas
- 2 Energy Retrieval
- 3 Potion
- 1 Rare Candy
- 2 Super Scoop Up
- 2 Energy Search
- 2 Lightning
- 1 Blend
- 1 Prism

TOTAL [24]

+ 1 Mewtwo Ex
+ 2 Registeel Ex
+ 1 Emolga
+ 3 Juniper
+ 2 N
+ 1 Cheren
+ 3 Heavy Ball
+ 2 Super Rod

+ 3 Enhanced Hammer
+ 3 Exp Share

Sorry, no Ampharos (as previously mentioned). Darkrai/Hydreigon likes to attach energies from the discard to the bench, as does Eels--Ampharos only hurts if the energy comes from the hand. If that restriction weren't there, I'd use Ampharos. If Blastoise (Rain Dance) were available, I'd recommend him to completely swap the Ampharos evolutionary line. Being as he's not... you could use Empoleon to keep the Stage 2 line?

IMO, I'd want another Rare Candy if you do decide to keep a Stage 2 evolutionary line in--one really won't cut it, while I believe three won't see use.

OR, if you remove the Stage 2 line completely, you can have safer access to Professor Juniper. There is the point of only having seven Supporters without any Random Receivers in your deck, with just four of those actually giving you fresh cards (I exclude Cilan since he is limited to energies. You'll run into severe draw problems as you have little to net you fresh hands / new cards / etc. Seven new cards for discarding your hand is brilliant, or so I find (but that depends on the deck, of course). Regardless, note that it is common for BW-on decks to have 11-15 supporters (and those with the minimum run Random Receivers).

Last point for now, I believe that 4 catchers is a bit excessive, since you are trying to spread damage. Catcher best works in this deck to bide for time--it will seldom be used for dragging up and getting a KO on one bench sitter.

Sorry that I can only offer generic tips instead of specifics.
