Lack of Ops/Hops

Alright, you know WHY I didn't look? I had less than 1 minute left on my comp when I was told about this before I had to go out. I had no time to do anything about this one, so there was no point in going into the chat again to look. Other people have lives as well you know.

Cal, calm down. I know you and every other person here has a life other then Beach, and I didn't intend to offend you nor point you out when I quoted that. Sorry if it was offensive.

If the Mods have lives (which I'm not surprised they do), more Mods are needed in the chat. Simple as that. I never understood why all Staff weren't Ops/Hops in there in the first place...

The ones that come into the chat do. In fact, I think the only mod who doesn't have ops is secrets. And Charizard lol but he doesn't count.

Unless by 'staff' you mean the 'forum helpers who are not moderators or higher', that is.

And if it is, same reason really, plus the reason that only forum mods get ops. Until now...??

Yeah, I meant TC, CC, Experts, the works. All staff. If they aren't on Chat, why are they even Staff on the Forums? At least that's my logic.

calm down, nobody's blaming you that it happened, it sucks we caught you on the way out, but it had been happening for about 5 minutes at that point. The point of the matter is, at some times of the day, there is little to no staff online, and it paves the way for spammers and ban evaders to come and cause havoc.

I'd be willing to help if needed. I'm always on the forums, so I guess I could be in the chat at the same time.

Oh no. I never said that. >__> I meant, if Staff go in the Chat Room, they should be Staff in there. It's just logical. I never said it should be a requirement, but everyone that goes in there and just watches while no Mods are there is clearly a problem that should be fixed.

XD. I wish I could help out. Not sure how the beach chat works, but maybe you could filter posts, and make something like a 20 character minnimum per chat entry.

There should be like shifts for some of the Hops. Because people in US could get the 12 or so hours when it is day for them, and the other people from countries the other side of the world can get the other 12 hours or sof the day.

If you don't know how the chat works, why make this suggestion? Anyway, if the forum has a five character limit, why should a chatroom have more. After all, it's a chatroom.

Well, I'm an exception. My connection is horrible in a sense that I get 2-3 disconnections in an hour, but I persevere anyway. I'd be willing to take the task of hop or op, since I'm almost always on for at least 10 hours and I make it a point to check the chat as much as I can. Nominate me if you'd like (though there are plenty of much better candidates), but I'm nominating someone else who definitely deserves the job (you know who you are ;]).[/nominate]
