Ruling Lake Boundary

I was playing Glaceon Lv.X against Magmortar Lv.X and I had Lake Boundary out and I attacked with Avalanche. Does Magmortar take x4 damage for weakness to water or just x2 damage?

Just x2 because boundary says : "Apply Weakness for each Pokemon as x2 instead".
Would be nice if it did 4x and resistance did half.

Agreed, the stadium only sets the weakness, doesn't increase it. So only 2X Damage.
