Strategy
Simple strategy, just like most Big Basic decks. Garbodor shuts down opponent abilities while Lando and Mewtwo go to town.

I'm torn between using Bouffalant or Terrakion as a non-ex attacker. Bouffalant uses colorless so DCE works on him well, but has a lower health pool than Terrakion (plus his ability shuts off when Garbo is out). Terrakion uses more Fighting energy but has more HP and can hit harder against non-EX pokemon.

Also torn between Scramble Switch and Dowsing Machine, I feel like Scramble works well with the high energy costs and Max Potions, but Dowsing Machine works very nicely late game.

Any advice is appreciated :)

I'm surprised you aren't using a thicker Garbobor line like most other variants as against decks that fear losing abilities, will tried their hardest to take out Trubbish. My guess is that you don't want to be paired up against something like Landorus/Mewtwo/Tornadus or other Garbodor variants resulting in a good portion of your deck consisting of dead cards. An interesting but risking play.

I would suggest testing Rescue Scarf instead of EXP.Share so that Blastoise variants have a slightly harder time trying to shut down your Trubbish before they evolve.

Ah, good idea. I actually had a fairly easy time dealing with other Big Basics/Garbodor decks, but I didn't have the overall power to beat Plasma TDK decks since my 2 attackers get shut down but theirs. I've been playing with the idea of Cobalion instead of Mewtwo but can't come up with a list I like XD

i would do this
13 Pokemon
3 Trubish
3 Garbador
2 Mewtwo
3 Landorus
2 Boufalant/Terrakion
35 Trainers
1 Ace spec
4 Pokemon Catcher
4 HypnoToxic Laser
2 Virbank City Gym
2 Float Stone
1 Rescue Scarf
1 EXP. Share
1 Max Potion
1 Switch
2 Ultra Ball
1 Level Ball
1 Heavy Ball
1 Energy Search
4 N
4 Professor Juniper
3 Skyla
2 Bianca
12 Energy
4 DCE
8 Fighting

the last card is either a tool or a max potion it is your choice

why use 2 non-ex attackers when you're running 3 garbodor? Plus, I think that your list has too few switch/float stones. The current meta is filled with hypnotoxic lasers, so in a deck where retreat costs are heavy you would want to use more float/switch (at least in my opinion)

your right ok so take out a non-ex attacker and add a switch (and the last card is a Ace spec)
