Landorus or Registeel For Spreading In Dusknoir?

So I am going back and forth, and Landorus to me, seems like the better card of the 2, to be played in Dusknoir.

Landorus.
turn 1 60 damage
turn 2 120
turn 3 180-270 (if you use his 2nd attack)
turn 4 240-330

Registeel.
turn 1 0 damage
turn 2 (possible 90)
turn 3 90 -180
turn 4 180-270

So as far as consistency, Landorus would most def be a better match up to me for a Dusknoir spread ko deck.
By turn 4 with landorus you have consistently put up a lot more damage.
at the end of turn 4. and you don't have to go fishing for a DCE as well as The dusknoir line etc etc. It also frees up room for the deck's trainers if you aren't running DCE in this deck.

The second attack on Landorus isn't relevant for Dusknoir decks, because it's almost a guaranteed KO. The main reason I'd run Landorus over Registeel anyway is Max Potion.

I think Darkrai + Dark Claw would be better for spread decks. 140 total damage almost guaranteed, reliable energy acceleration, and has insurance for Dusknoir should he be (and he will) Catchered out. Not to mention should you run Darkrai, you can use Dark energies, making Sableye a natural addition to the deck and can reuse crux cards like Catcher (keep something slow active), Dark Patch/Claw (Keep Darkrai's streamed), and so on and so forth...

Yeah...

Yeah...

Yeah I like that. Once again darkrai prevails...

Darkrai/Registeel/Dusknoir seems the best for me. It is fast, consistent and deals good damage. With Darkrai include Dark Claw to deal more damage and as you are using DCE, 1/2 Mewtwo is also good to finish some Pokémon and helps you Blastoise/Keldeo matchup.
The funniest for me is with flygon.

Anyone try out Darkrai Landorus Dusknoir?
Have Darkrai for his ability and ocassional attack
But use Landorus as the main damage spread

landorus due to the fact it can donk, and attack much, much faster

Have you tried Landorus NVI? It can do 80+10 to all bench on turn 2 if you get a fighting in the discard turn 1 (with junipers and stuff). I like it because, if you also run pluspower and skyla, you can 1 shot darkrai, it's also not an EX, and has the potential to do more spread damage. The downside is it will do ten to each of your benched pokemon. Note: I have not actually tested dusknoir decks, and this is all theorymon.

Kyurem NV would be better than either of these, as 180 damage per turn with a full bench is scary.

You only start attacking T3, if your opponent is smart you could be doing only 60 or 90 per turn, and once your Kyurem get's KO'd you take another 3 Turns to get another one up. I know you could have EXP. Share, etc. but they can have Tool Scrapper too.

Ive been testing Lando EX/Darkrai EX/Dusknoir.
Its real fast, consistent, and can really deal huge blows to your opponents pokemon. Land Judgement is an amazing finisher to ko an EX or Stage 2. Lando EX is better.

Same here man!
Couple questions.
Do you use Max Potion?
Eviolite?
and which ball? Ultra/Level/Heavy

I play Ultra and Eviolite. Ultra charges patches and you can get its trainrs discarded back with hunt.

I'm seeing Dusknoir being used with Darkrai a lot, and using Sableye to get back Ultra Balls, Catchers, Rare Candies, and Dark Patches to accelerate their set-up. It's pretty solid, and it's quite annoying. Eviolite is popular as well, but I don't see any Heavy Ball or Max Potion.

Wow So Its Full Loaded With Sableye And Dark Patch?!
I Was Just Running Darkrai Landorus Dusknoir with nothing much going for the Darkrai
@RogueChomp, do you think it be ok if i could see your decklist for reference?
I understand if you don't want to disclose it

Darkrai is the most consistent, strongest spreader.
Its really nothin special list. My pokemon are like:
2 Sableye
2 Lando
3-0-2 Dusknoir
3 Darkrai

You need atleast 1 Dusclops, especially cuz De-Evo spray can be annoying.

Then I shall officailly be stupid again..

Oh well, I guess it could be helpful for the rare Gothitelles that you'll win anyways.
