Why not search the web for laptop reviews? This way, you will be able to find out about your laptop's pros and cons, so that you can get the best laptop for a webmaster. Well, I don't know much about laptops, I use the PC. Sorry, I know I am not helping, but my advice is to seek help from techno-geeks, not kids like us; most people from PokéBeach Forums are teenagers, so don't expect us to know much.

It's an honor to help you. Well, I guess buy a Sony Vaio Laptop like my dad's laptop. From experience, the Vaio laptop is good in many views like audio, video and even broadband. Well I like to use a Vaio.

I suggest you buy that Toshiba notebook for any other further, future mishaps WPM, it's great in form and function and is very light, giving you better features than your previous one...

My dad has:
HP (can't remember...will edit this when he/I use it next)
Me:
IBM: Think pad....(that's what I'm useing right now...as I only have a old computer...without a screen..(This is my 2nd one as my 1st one: the screen broke))

I think the screen is too small on it, but it looks a lot like the one my friend has. It may actually be the same one, except hers has XP instead of vista. I'd say go for it if you think it's gonna be worth your while. My 1st laptop met its end because of my dogs. One of them threw up on it, and it went into the motherboard. And the sad thing was there was hardly any vomit on it. I was pretty upset about it, but luckily my school provides computers in rooms, but they are super slow. I'm getting a macbook in a couple weeks. I've been wanting one for a long time, so I thought, why not get it at the beginning of the quarter when i have money! Good luck on your laptop endeavor!

I am still going with Apple. Nobody in my family haves it, everybody loves it! You can not possibly get viruses, you'll have the best OS ever made. Anyway, they are pretty expensive. Right after Apple, there's Vaio as I said.
Whatever:
-Think Pad: Don't buy it. Nobody likes it since Lenovo bought it
-Toshiba: Sure it was one of the best computers for really long ... they aren't anymore
-HP: My mom haves it and she says it's enough good for her and she works on it around 3 years at least 3 hours per day
-Dell: Nothing impressive.

I hope I however helped you

HP Tablet laptops are great, I have had one for a while and love it, also, my dad has a Toshiba tablet that is great, in other words, tablets are the way to go.

Toshiba Satellite 12.1” Widescreen Notebook PC (U205-S5067)

i think that the one u chose is great! 160 GB, vista, shock-absorbing hard drives.... these will definitely suit u:D

I suggest u get a handheld-sized one like the Vaio UX or the OQO. Alternatively, ask your school which laptop will be most suitable and get it.

160Gb-Almost every notebook haves it!
Vista-Almost every notebook haves it! And BTW: Apples OS is many times better (and you can sill have windows on it)
shock-absorbing hard drives-What are you going to do with your notebook???

We had a problem with our keyboard so we got an external one and it work fine like it was new and you can get one for less than $20.00
