Last-turn playouts. Is "overkill" okay?

Do you like to do some overkill on your final -winning- turn?

If your opponent or you are on the last turn and obviously about to win, do you care if they play out their last turn? When I'm on my winning move, personally, I like to play out my turn. Wether it be evolving my bench unnecessarily, playing random trainers, etc., I like to just burn my hand. Some people don't care, and others freak out. Do you have any opinions on the subject of "overkill"?

When I'm playing against my friends, I usually play the game out even though I have the win just to joke around. When I'm around other people, however, I don't play it out.

I always play it out. (Except at League.)

Sometimes even if you're at a marked advantage, you might forget something that's in play, like Snowpoint Temple (last format) or Exoskeleton. I always take my time in a tournament match, since missing something could cost me the game. (And one time it did - it was a prerelease and I lost that game; my opponent placed 1st and I placed 2nd.)

Because people make really stupid mistakes.

Right, even if you KNOW you're going to win, it's always best to play out your turn. Because honestly, mistakes happen more often than you would expect (see post above). Plus, it's always fun to keep playing out your turn. If my opponent does it, I honestly don't care - it's what I would do, and a couple extra seconds don't really matter. And come on, if you know you're going to lose, it's your fault for not scooping as much as your opponent's for not taking what he believes to be a win without playing out his turn.

I usually do play out the last turn, unless I'm playing with Yanmega's, then I would just show my opponent the Judge/Copycat, and would proceed to say Good Game if I had the ample amount of damage to take my last prize.

I don't find it rude or wrong if my opponent chooses, or chooses not to play out the last turn of a game.

I always do that, except when I'm at tournaments. I don't mind if my opponent does it, unless it's at a tournament. (I like to have time to trade and talk in between battles)

I think its fine to do it and it helps you get more practice in. I like to think, what would I do if I still had 2 prizes left to take and do my turn out, it also makes you better suited for the next turn if you forgot something.

I only really play out my turns in fun games, but even then I don't do it too often. I don't mind if my opponent evolves or does something small, but when their turn goes on for a very long time, that's when i sort of get annoyed (of course, I never really say anything). But I don't know, to me it seems sort of like a waste of time. But really, I don't really say anything if my opponent does do that.

I don't do it to be mean, just if my opponent and I are having a good time and just feel like ending the game on a joke. Like, to show him that I would have won even if he had more Pokemon, I showed him my hand, which had everything in it. He was like "oh" and felt bad, so I Junipered to lighten his spirits. He laughed really hard. :)

out of respect, i let my opponent end the game early without playing out my last turn. It also saves time and speeds things up in tournaments

If im in the early stages of testing a new deck out then i play it all out to get more familiar with it and get its mechanics down.

At tournaments, if there is a certain card that would guarantee me victory I show it to my opponent and gracefully end it. If im with friends, I demolish them unnecessarily
