leafeon tech

So I was just going through theme deck's and then thought this up,

3-2-3 venasaur SV
4-4 leafeon UD

SV has multiple use's in this combo, it set's up a special effect for leafeon dealing 150 every second turn (given they don't full heal or something), you can put in a lock or an extra attacker, sv can be used as a tech or an attack. As long as it's grass you don't take any special condition's. cya

P.S. (you could also tech this in with jumpluff for zero status effect's or an additional annoyance)

Remember that Veinusaur has to have 80 dmg on it to use its attack for dealing out three special conditions a turn.. That would leave it wide open to, say, Garchomp sniping. I would suggest Roserade UN and/or Drapion Lv.X and/or Hypno HGSS and/or Houndoom Prime UD in order to deal 100-150 dmg a turn easily, plus the damage from burn/poison.

I've tried Leafeon UD, but it didn't go so well (I used Magmortar/Roserade/Skunntank G build, fairly common...). Keep in mind that after that attack of Venusaur's, a retreat plus an attack for 60 damage KOs Venusaur (assuming Venusaur already had those 8 counters, otherwise, it's not advisable to tech in as another attacker because of the space it takes up). As I see it, it's pretty slow and has some flaws that almost all common archetypes can overcome (also, getting 8 damage counters to 13 is tough, if your opponent can't OHKO, he/she may just do 60/70 and then go for the KO next turn to avoid the special conditions...)

I was thinking more of using the power mainly, however I was very aware of that other fact but then I thought about this, i'm leaving them with a 50/50 chance of doing anything with there active, a majority of deck's usually have warp point and not switch (which help's me out alot) and most deck's usually deal around 80 dmg which is just setting up venasaur's attack irregardless, you can easily bts a leafeon UD out and get the easy afterwards. And in truth the 1 tech that takes 2 hit's to go down sounds better then the 3 tech's that take a dirt nap each time they see a GCVX.
