If this site http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/6809 Gets 10,000 supports they might make lego Zelda if they did would you buy? I would. I would buy every stinking set

Lego Zelda? Heck yea, I bet Lego would make more money from this than anything else Lego they've made, and if it gets popular, they might make other Legos based on video games, too. I'm supporting with no doubt.

Why are there french fries in his hair...

And this is hilarious. I wonder what Ganon's minifigure would look like. Or the moon.

There is absolutely no way Nintendo would give this random 3rd party guy rights to their 25 year old franchise. What if the game goes horribly wrong? Nintendo would be blamed for a lot of the stuff and their business would decline. They are not going to trust something they already do to some random guy (hey that sounds like the mods here) who wants to make a crossover between Lego and Zelda. All he's done so far is make the 3D objects, which honestly, is barely a part of the game.

Traditionally, Lego games have taken all the parts of movies and Lego-ized them, for the lack of a better term. Notice something? LoZ doesn't have any movies. They have games, and there are 18 of them at that. There is no way that you can fit that much into a game. And then the games are much longer than movies as well. They would have to develop a completely new storyline, take characters from the main games, put them in there, put in sidequests, make just about everything interactable, etc, etc.

tl;dr: Nintendo won't accept.

^Exactly. And who would want these anyways? Lego tends to advertise towards much younger audiences, and Legend of Zelda appeals to an older crowd. And what would you build? Link's tree house? Would there be a tingle figurine? The entire notion just seems idiotic.

This project is not about a game, it is about Legos. Yeah. Those bricks etc.
If it gets 10 000 votes, the Lego company reviews the project, and decides if it's a good idea to make it true or not. I don't think that Nintendo has much to say against it (it's just selling a license = more money - and there are already many Zelda products so why not?), but Lego might have. :p

Lego Game - Not going to happen, Nintendo wouldn't allow it and Lego would destroy the franchise. Lego games take movies, simplify them, and add the element of building or taking things apart. I've always disliked them.

Lego Set - Here Lego take all of my money.

My take on it.

Agreed just make a Lego loftwing and fierce deity bionicle like (action figure). And I can imagine they could have very interesting puzzles.

the only thing that might be a no is that it's a Nintendo thing and they probably don't want any other systems to have the game but idk you could see what happens but i would LOVE if they had lego zelda :3

lucas, read the thread before posting (OR AT LEAST THE FIRST POST, HUH?), it's not even long. -__-
We are not talking about a game, we are talking about Legos.

I think a Lego Zelda set would be pretty cool. But Nintendo would never allow Lego Zelda: the Video Game, let alone a toyline. I'm sort of against the idea for I believe it'd leave a crappy mark in the Zelda franchise, but I'm also for the idea because Zelda and Lego together would be awesome.

This will at least be better idea than the CD-i (even though I'm a fan)...I doubt it'll happen though.

You are trying to annoy me to death, aren't you?

THIS IS NOT ABOUT A GAME. READ THE FREAKING THREAD.

'Cause as we all know "toyline" means "video game".

Also, Mr.Tea never said nothing about a game. He was simply stating that Lego Zelda would be better than the Philips CD-i Zelda games. He wasn't necessarily talking about a Lego Zelda: the Video Game.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo allowed it. Similar things have been done, I can assure you that I have seen Mario Kart themed K'NEX sets in stores.

This. I read all of the posts lol. Sure, it's an awful comparison, but both ideas are pretty "out there," Lego Zelda more so, but it's actually better. No need to e-yell at us :p
