I don't what happened, but instead I'll post my art here for people to see and critique. I know much of them are fake Pokémon and such, but I want people to criticize my and tell me how "official" the art and style appear. I want to improve and show off my talents.

THe person is SOOOO good. YOu emulate Sugi style really well. Actually, all of them are really good. Kudos, and keep it up! :D
 
You are just amazing. I have got to say that the Charmander is one of my favorite ones. Your other drawings are great and I can't wait to see more of your work.
 
these are great!! Did you use Adobe Photoshop on the Lucario? The tall guy's left hand looks a bit odd, but other than that it's great!

I plan on doing some more updates later on. I hand drew many of these. First, I hand drew lucario and then scanned the image. I used Photoshop to ink/color him in. I've noticed the Ken Sugimori does a sloppy job on his lines for the art/Pokémon. So I thought I should mimic that as well.

i think i'm going to make an art shop where i do requests. but not anytime soon. but be ready! but for the mean time, i'm just going to post more pics of my art ;)
 
I've noticed the Ken Sugimori does a sloppy job on his lines for the art/Pokémon.

The lineart is fine, it's just stylisation (his lines have moderate jitter noticeable only at full res)

IMO he is a lot more sloppy when it comes to drawing the humans. The sugimori art of the BW protagonists for example, have insanely thin necks.
 
Your Fakemon are the best I have seen, period. But, you have a flaw...
Graphic Designing.

But that's okay, with practice, you will get better.

Try to refine details I guess. For instance the lineart for the lucario's mouth is a little wobbly, with quite noticeable aliasing.

a friend requested me to draw one of their fakemon in Sugimori style. Hope you guys like.
 
@Chiraami: depends if I like the pokémon.

@aggiegwyn: yeah? how so? I would like to hear as much to improve. I don't mind seeing a wall of text. And of course I understand if you don't want to take that much time for a post.
