Ahhhh, New England. The home of all weather ailments. You name it, we have it smaller scale most of the time.
But if there's one thing about New England, it's our catchphrase: 'You don't like the weather? Wait a minute'.
I can't tell you how many times this has been true. Thunderstorms come and go as they please here, along with any other kinda weather combinations you can imagine. It's been snowing and thunderstorming before. Don't ask me how it works, I DON'T KNOW.
As for thunderstorms, so long as they aren't when I'm sleeping and like right overhead (even then half the time I sleep right through them), I kinda like them. I enjoy the sound of the rain and the hopefully not crazy winds and rumbling of thunder. Something a little romantic about them, I guess.
But if there's one thing not cool about these storms, it's the winds and the floods they produce. New England is probably most prone to flooding and high winds. We've actually been in state of emergencies from stuff that comes from storms. It's kinda crazy when you lose power in freezing cold December for a half-week.
