Lilycove Art Museum Event?

I'd really like to have some sort of contest or something of the sort on this forum. Not necessarily a SoTW, but a contest in that manner and still small. I was wondering if any of you guys would support this idea, or had any ideas of your own. I'd love to hear any ideas.

Personally I was thinking of a "Nominee of the Week". Rather than make something for a contest, you make something in general that can be submitted to the contest not only by yourself but by other members. Members then vote on what they believe was the best art of the week (graphic or digital). What do you all think?
 
I think that is a good idea. It would give people motivation I think.
 
Art activity on here isn't really high though. Plus I kinda get the vibe that artists here aren't really into competitive art.
 
Well, like Yakkov said, art activity is low the way it is, and most artists don't enjoy competition. (I don't, but I still sign up. XP)

So, maybe it would be better to have a project. Like (and this is just an example):Everybody draw a girl, and then all of the girls drawn could be put into one big convas.

Kind of like those draw-em-all projects on deviant art.

I might. It just all depends really.
 
Yeah but learning to draw them is fun too. I mean, you can't really consider yourself to like drawing if you don't find drawing fun...

Seriously, he is the sites Pokemon creator. That make for a fun challenge.
 
I think this sounds like a great idea! I'll be glad to partake in this event if it happens.
