Whoa, that's basically what I said!
But you said PS3 instead of PSP...

RE: Name this gen's systems from best to worst!

1. DS (Easily the best library of games out right now, and keeps growing. All the features of the DSi also easily help earn it's spot at the top.)

2. PS3 (Being a fighting game fan I have to give second to the PS3. Street Fighter IV, KOF XII, BlazBlue, Soulcalibur IV, MvC2, and Tekken 6 and Battle Fantasia will be arriving within a few months time. Yes, these games are all on the 360 as well, but I much prefer the PS3's controller if I have to use it over an arcade stick. Besides fighters, Valkyria Chronicles, inFAMOUS, and LittleBigPlanet are all nice exclusives. Plus owning a PS3 means I also have a BluRay player, what's not to like about that?)

3. Wii (A lot of the library bests the PS3 in my opinion, but the Wii sadly falls a bit behind when it comes to online play. Which ranks it only slightly below the PS3. It's no doubt that the Wii is a strong console though, and there's no point in listing games as there are far too many quality titles when you are pretending the shovelware doesn't exist.)

4. PSP (Definitely not the best platform out there, but it has some good stuff. Monster Hunter and Dissidia: Final Fantasy are games that come to mind first. And numerous other great titles have been released over the years with more on the horizon. The mp3 and video capabilities of the system are also a plus.)

5. Xbox 360 (Easily my least favorite console on the market, it just doesn't do it for me. Halo, Blue Dragon and Banjo would honestly be the only games I can see myself playing on it and a lot of the other games have counterparts on the PS3 already, with Tales of Vesperia receiving one soon as well. I just can't justify a purchase of one very well, and not being a huge fan of shooters doesn't help.)

LOL, although I'm a pokemon freak, I'm not biased towards Nintendo:

1 PS3: Killer exclusive games for 8-80. Playstation live is free, and o ya, it's also has a LOT more.
2 DS: Although the games are mostly geared towards kids, the games match the system perfectly. Games that are mentally challenging.
3 Xbox 360: Good games, greedy company. If Xbox Live was free, and it could do all the Junk PS3 did, it would be higher.

Oh, COME ON! Other than the main Pokemon games, NOTHING beats SSBB!!!!!

RE: Name this gen's systems from best to worst!

Xbox 360 - Consistently gives out good games for the system and is innovative in every step.
DS - Great third-party support coupled with great games for the DS and DSiWare makes this easily the best handheld.
Wii - Shaky third-party support and hardware issues keep this console from winning. Sales and good games coming out may boost the reputation.
PS2 - Consistently selling well and has some of the best games still for last gen and some rival this gen.
PSP - Has gotten some Sony support with more games coming out exclusively, but the new handheld looks to be overpriced.
PS3 - Way too expensive and the very few exclusives do not justify the price IMO.

Little Nintendo fanboyism, but all of them have their own faults. PC is probably behind DS or something. I don't really consider it a system.

dmaster out.

RE: Name this gen's systems from best to worst!

While my list will look biased, know that I'm actually not being biased in the least.

Nintendo DS/DS Lite/DSi: It's an overall good game system. It's gotten the right kinds of games for the platform, and hasn't ticked everyone off with many things.
Play Station Portable: I like it, but... In my opinion, it's just a little below the DS there.
Nintendo Wii: Good system, bad game line-up barring a few redeeming titles.
Play Station 2: IMO, this counts.
XBOX 360: Only ranks above PS3 due to similar game line-ups and price differences.
Play Station 3: Too pricey, not worth it.

RE: Name this gen's systems from best to worst!

ds pokemon mario zelda wii ssbb galaxy 360 FPS halo left4 dead ps3 blue ray psp nothing really

RE: Name this gen's systems from best to worst!

Probably like most other users in this forum as I am a bit biased towards the Big N

DS - Good selections of games, game themselves tend to be quite cheap, portable, many different versions etc.

PS3 - My personal favourite of the three main system mainly because it's region free so I dont have to wait years for all of the decent games to FINALLY be released in Europe (Blazblue ftw). Backwards compatability offered by the 60GB is also very good too. (Would compain about the price but got it for my Birthday so I can't complain)

Wii - Were this next year it would probably be above the PS3 with more games for it such as Muramasa The Demon Balde & Dragon Quest X. Until then, it stays here.

X360 - This is probably bias from an importer but the fact that this consoel doesnt support non PAL discs annoys me comapred to the PS3 which does and the Wii which doesnt really have any import worthy games (Except captain rainbow and I can live without that). Does have a lot of good games but not many of them appeal to me. Oh yeah, and make all of the Original games fully backwards comaptable. I'm getting really annoyed at only being able to play the first 3 levels of Panzer Dragoon Orta...

PSP - Contary to popular believe does have a few awesome games (Gitaroo Man, Valkyrie Profile, Darkstalkers, Castlevanix Dracula X chronicles) but it really does better at being a media device than an actual game system.

Chintendo Vii - Yeah...

RE: Name this gen's systems from best to worst!

DS-What's not to like? A huge collection of games, software and user ease. WiFi is simple too.
Wii-It doesn't have the largest collection of games, and most of them are 3rd party crap, and there is WiFi hacking, but SSBB is great. And it's the main homebrew system out there.
Ps3-Nice graphics
PsP-Not really sure, haven't tried it that much.
Xbox 360-it's only alive because of the Halo series, and a few titles that are available on most consoles, but debuted on the Xbox. Plus, I hate how Microsoft is trying to take over the Wii with project natal. Rip-off of the Wii and the Eye toy. Seriously, how uncreative can you be?

1) Xbox 360 - Best graphics. Tales of Vesperia. Halo. Gears of War. L4D. Need I say more?
2) - 6) Nonexistant
7) DS - Tons of good games, but there's a lot of crap that's being released on it.
8) Wii - It's nice to have. Too bad most of the games are crap.
9) PSP - Haven't played one yet, but I don't think there are too many good games on it.
10) PS3 - Seriously, I would have this and it would be higher on the list if Sony would just reduce the price. Even if it's just by $100. With Tales of Vesperia PS3 coming out in Japan soon, that price drop is needed. There also aren't too many good games on the system, which makes the high price even worse.

Other than Melee, hahaha! ;)

DS: Everybody has listed great reasons why. The home of a GREAT library of games, includng TWEWY, Pokemon D/P/Pt, Phantom Hourglass, Megaman ZX, and many others.

Wii: To be honest, I don't play my Wii as much as I thought I would, but I do play it more than my 360. SSBB, Metroid Prime 3, Twilight Princess, and Punch Out are among the best, IMO.

PS3: Shame it isn't selling so well. Uncharted, Resistance (an FPS I ENJOY! :O ), and Rachet and Clank are great fun.

360: Meh, I don't really like this that much. I generally despise FPSs, Racing Games, and Sports Games which happens to make up 95% of the whole library. And I got the Red Ring 3 months ago. :(

PSP: At least it will get BBS, but otherwise: STAY CLEAR!

1st PS3: Yes this is the ultimate console out there. It has the best graphics on a games console, it has blue ray, free online, Vidzone. Then you move onto the games: Resistance 2, Gran turismo 5, Little big planet, metal gear solid 4, Uncharted, killzone need I say more?

2nd DS: yup a lovely little console, decent graphics and awesome games. nuff said

That statement is SO untrue.... ANYWAYS

1. Xbox 360- Awesome system exclusives (Gears 1&2, Halo 3 etc.) All my friends are there. Lots of awesome arcade games
2. Nintendo DS- Awesome RPG games (Pokemon, The World Ends With You, Sonic Chronicles) Nintendo's FC idea sucks but its ok.
3. Wii- Lots of crud on the system... (Ninjabread Man -_-) But it has some fun games (Okami, SSBB)
4. PS3- Decent I guess.... Community sucks. Only a couple good games... (Killzone 2) Not much else...
5. PSP- Maybe a good game? (Liked LocoRoco...) Definitely not worth the money... PERIOD

So many thighs wrong with this statement. 1st of all, have you ever heard of CoD (all of them), Fallout 3, Gears of War (1 & 2). The list goes on.

2nd of all, Nintendo doesn't own motion sensitivity. The did a good job with the Wii Remote and stuff, but Project Natal doesn't even need a controller. How great is that?[/rant]

Anyway, my list:

#1: Xbox 360- Reasons mentioned above
#2: DS- Great games already, and promising games coming out later this year (Scribblenauts & Phantasy Star ø)
#3: Wii- Where else can I get mah Brawlz?
#99: Sony stuff- Was never a big fan

#1 The DS Lite:The cheapest of all the gaming systems out right now.Pokemon can be played on the DS Lite.
#2 The Wii:SSBB Need I go on?
For the rest of the game consoles,I don't play them.

#1 Wii: A great family system. Has a bunch of games the whole family can play.
#2 PS2: The old dark horse. Although completely overshadowed by PS3, most of the big PS3 games are on the PS2. Although the graphics aren't as good, they're not as expensive.
#3 PS3: Great graphics for some games, but awfully expensive.
#4 XBOX 360: Stated above in #3
#5 DS Line: With the DSi being a "Nintendo PSP", they've shown they're not very original. But, they do have some great games, just overshadowed by the gaming systems.
