Lost BW77 and BW78 Promo Cards Finally Revealed [7/21]

Surely they could have put these in place of one of the myriad of set reprint box/blisters.
 
This is a real shame those cards are beautiful and none of us will ever own them. Why?! I wish I never saw these :(
 
Depending on what one means by Raichu never gets a break, that isn't exactly true. Raichu had a pop 9 shattered like holo release, and at the time of Pokemon Organized Play it was like having a promo card.

Which doesn't negate my desire that these cards be released (even if it won't happen). Um, adding potential injury to insult here, does anyone know if these cards would have been holo or not?
 
Going by what's the norm (Plasma Storm's blisters are an easy indication of this), I'd imagine Raichu probably would have been holo and Pikachu not, the evolution in these 2-stage blisters tends to be holo, whether it's new or not.

But it's Pikachu. It absolutely must be shiny!! Because Pikachu is shining with electricity!! I wanted this D:

So how rare are these cards if they haven't been officially released? And how much would people bid for them on ebay? That would be interesting.
