As of now around 8 new cards from the lost link set have been translated. IDK about you guys but im seeing some powerful game mechanics at work here. And with only 8 cards released im guessing theres going to be a lot more. The way theyre putting the lost zone to work is just amazing. That absol prime really stood out to me when combined with that lost world card. It seems kinda beyond broken :) I cant wait to see what magnezone and gengar can do. One thing I noticed is that all the primes seem to have cheap attacks. Magnezone and absol for 2 and gengar and mew for 1. Looks like there may be hope for the future cards to beat SPs. i cant wait for new translations :).

Also is this the frist time a new way to win the game has been created (lost world)or is there another one. If there is i've never heard of it.
So what do you all think about the new set and game mechanics?
PS-First thread on LL :)....i think

There aren't too many "new" game mechanics, but I've always liked the Lost Zone. With "Lost World" the Lost Zone actually still stands a chance. Only time will tell if there is a fast, efficient way of dumping cards into the Lost Zone, as in this fast format there needs to be a little speed. When SPs are rotated out, this should be a new archetype just because it's the fastest thing out there.

As for the individual set itself, including cards, I was impressed with the following:

Darkrai & Cresselia LEGEND:
This card is very good, in my opinion. With LEGEND Box and a speedy trainer line, getting it out should be easy. Then, all you have to do is use Weavile's "Shadow Charge" twice, meaning that "Lost Crisis" can do near to 120-140 damage easily. Play some DCE and send a DCE into the Lost Zone so you can use "Lost Crisis" twice in a row, which should be game-breaking and versus stage 2s an auto-win.

Lucario:
Lucario is a tech versus Lost Zone. For little more than a DCE, it can do a ton of damage very quickly when fighting against the Lost Zone. This can give a little aggressive power versus Lost Zone, and in my opinion it is a viable tech. Versus anything else, slap a Mew Prime tech to accelerate your Lost Zone.

Lost World:
The newest archetype. Anything that provides a game-winning condition has to be good. Darkrai & Cresselia LEGEND makes this card broke.

Zangoose:
Although a little on the slower side, a DCE turn 2 with the usage of "Swords Dance" T1 allows you to disrupt your opponent's hand while doing decent damage. It should mess your opponent up a lot, and in six turns you can declare game.

Lost Remover:
Remember Energy Removal a while back? This is like that, only it punishes DCE. With Scizor Prime coming into the field, this should and Scizor Prime will make DCEs and Call Energies almost unplayable. Many decks should definitely consider loaning some space to this card. Even one copy can do wonders.

Umreon & Espeon:
These two are making Eeveelutions come back. With a built-in SSU whenever you need it for your Espeon, it can attack and return to your hand in a jiffy. Espeon has the potential to copy invaluable attacks, Umbreon's "Evo Blast".

And we still havnt seen Gengar and Magnezone *sigh*.
When I said new game mechanics I meant it as in the lost zone actually having an effect in the game as opposed to the old put it in and forget it style the lost zone used to use. Now the lost zone can have a very dramatic effect on the game to the point of letting you win automatically, another new thing to look at. Im not a big fan of the zangose but the lucario and absol prime are awesome and definatly worth a look at. Palkia GX makes lost world just to broken. Lost remover should defiantly see play.

Wow. Absol Prime will be played so much in Battle Road Fall (think that's the time it will come out). Everyone is going to want to play Absol and Lost Zone a bunch of cards. Alph Lithograph might actually see some play in order to make sure your opponent has Pokemon. Even then we don't know if Absols attack cost is |D||C| or |C||C|, if it was the latter then Absol could be lost zoning cards like crazy T1. If Absol does well at States, DialgaChomp will become very popular at Cities and Absol will have a tougher time winning if the dialgachomp keeps its hand Pokemon Free.

I am so playing darkraicressy legend when it comes out for my first deck in masters :)
Honestly this lost zone thing is like the same style i've played in every card game BUT pokemon cuz they've never had it, maybe this is a sign i'll be better in masters:)

I love this set and I think contrary to what everyone is moaning about lost world that if you get the win with it your gonna deserve it, 6 Pokemon in your opponents lost zone is ruddy hard, Absol is good and will see play with lookers If we keep it. I also think that if everyone is so scared of Absol G and turns, SSU then play Tomb/Vileplume. Problem Solved.

If you read absol prime translation, there is a part that says "if... the attack fails", so my guess is that it probably needs a coin flip to work or something else and it won't be that good... Also, people are saying lost world is broken, that you only need to KO 2 stage 2 pokemon to win, but remember that when you knockout a pokémon it doesn't go to the lost zone. You still have to knockout a pokémon with an attack that sends the pokémon to the lost zone like the one in Darkrai&Cresselia Legend or Giratina Lv.x's attack...
