Yes but we never got the Pikachu full art here, not even as a promo card. Which in a sense I think is too bad. But popularity aside if they can make a Pikachu FA, they could make a Rattatta one...except they never will.

Cubone/Marowak. I know they'd never do a full art of Cubone (there hasn't even been a common in any XY set :S), but if they did I'd buy all the copies...Cubone is one of my favourite pokemon, and a FA Cubone (or even Marowak) would look sick!
Luxray - They won't now that they've done Manectric, and there's already a Luxray rare in XY2, but a FA Luxray would be amazing...
Gallade- would love a Gallade FA

There's so many Pokemon I'd rather see as EX's than Emolga. That was the most surprising one to me.... and that's real.
Suicune EX doesn't look like a possibility at this point, despite the other legendary beasts getting cards. The same would likely go for Regice and Regirock. I could see some potential in an Arceus-EX with plates printed as tools that change its type (i.ei. Splash Plate - "The Arceus-EX this card is attached to is now a (W) type). As long as it has decent attacks, this could be an interesting gimmick for hitting opponents for weakness. The drawback would be that Arceus-EX's attacks are a bit lackluster (requires a discard, perhaps?) unless doing double damage.

We WILL see a FA Absol, we have to. That's because we will have a M. Absol EX at some point in time.

In some ways I don't think plates, especially pertaining to all types, would be really feasible. But that doesn't mean it won't happen considering the creation of the mega link cards that Gengar and Manectric have.

It's interesting how EX selection has changed with the introduction of three additional generations. During the RSE era, lesser mons were indeed selected to be featured in a set's culmination of EXs. Now with such a myriad of legendaries, pseudo-legendaries, megas, and other more "premium" Pokemon, the more quirky niche-type Pokemon will never see the light of day.
I would like to see more "average" Pokemon receive higher rarity editions. Handing out FAs to every bidoof and his uncle clearly would be counter-productive, but there are many dimensions of Pokemon that when entertained, can warrant an EX. Considering popularity from anime, pop culture, and other phenomena would allow the makers of the TCG to maturate their product without compromising the integrity of the EX brand.

Torkoal-EX Why doesn't this guy ever get any good cards? I love Torkoal so much, even if this card was unplayable, I would still get it.
Arbok-EX Truth be told, I don't like Arbok that much, but every freakin' Arbok card ever printed has fantastic artwork!
Flygon-EX Flygon, even when he's not that playable, is always an interesting Pokemon when a card is released. He would probably have a really fun Ability!

I would pick most of the baby Pokemon excluding Bonsly. Bonsly can pack a pretty powerful punch if use correctly in the TCG even in VG he is pretty strong but the TCG if you have the right Bonsly card he can be pretty powerful in the hands of an expert. Most of the baby Pokemon are pretty weak so they would be out and there are a few stage one Pokemon that are weak but can't remember which ones off the top of my head though. But yeah most baby Pokemon are out because of how weak they are.

I think you're right about Luxray, they are both 'dog-like' electric pokemon so it makes sense that they won't do it.
I think both Gallade and Gardevoir will get EX cards, since they have megas, but I think and hope they will get it in the same set.
@Juliacoolo, I absolutely agree with you that they should make more average pokemon get EX. I think they should make the average pokemons stand out more in general, not just EX-cards but holos and maybe being like 1 of the four pokemon that 'represent' a set.

Yeah baby pokemons won't get EXs but I don't think it's because they are weak, I think it's because they have evolutions.
I would be really suprised if they made any pokemon with an evolution an EX.
GadgetJax, I actually half expect that we'll see an EX for Flygon at some point. To be honest if there are anymore Mega Evolutions in ORAS on the horizon (and we know of at least one that will be revealed in the demo) I wouldn't be surprised to see Flygon in that rank.
There are a ton of non mega Pokemon I feel should get full arts such as Ninetales, Vileplume, Flygon and Tropius.
But then you have Pokemon like Malamar, Seismitoad, Politoed, Hawlucha where I would question the need for a full art. I mean I think full arts should be of popular Pokemon, not necessarily the last evolution, like for example I'd rather see a Chansey full art then a Blissey. Also all those terrible gen 4 evolutions like Lickilicky and Electivire.
What I'm wondering is if we'll ever see the Johto starters as full arts, Typhlosion is my favorite Pokemon from Gen 2 and my favorite starter of all time. She is the Pokemon I've played the longest with in any game and my highest level Pokemon.
But with the 1st gen released, and the 3rd gen likely next it seems Gen 2 will be skipped. I hope there is some way gen 2's starters can get megas and full arts but I'm worried they may go the way of Suicune.

I know they have evolutions already. It would be like large versions of these Pokemon kind of the same as 2nd stages and their defenses would be stronger. See if they did this for the TCG only it would curve the whole aspect of the TCG and make it more interesting.

Hmmm.... I don't know... I don't really like the idea, but it could work.

It doesn't really make sense to make mega evolutions for baby pokemon, becuase they're supposed to evolve to get stronger, so make them mega-evolve to make them stronger would kinda make it unecesserary for it to have regular evolutions.
