Hi everyone. It's LuckyLuigi7, or LL7 for short. I guess you could call this more of a banner gallery since I don't really draw my banners. But I hope you enjoy. This gallery features the timeline of work I have done every since I joined this forum. So please critique my work adequately and give me suggestions and what I should start on next. I hope you enjoy it and that you reply to this thread. Thanks. :3

I may not be an art critic, but they are pretty good. Could use some work though, like adding more of a color variety and more clearer banners. Good job anyways.

Some of my older pieces of work are from MS Paint so they are scratchy sometimes, but I'm glad you like them. I'll try to make sure that my next banners are high-quality work. =)

LOVE the banners LL7 :D. Thanks for finally posting them where I can see them all in one place. My favorite has to be the one that says "Read Beyond the Books". Really smart all the way around.

Thanks, I'm glad they're all in one place, and I like the same one you like, because it's my latest work and I usually always like the latest banner I've done. Anyway, I hope to work on a title banner for the thread; it's a little boring with the plain text... :p Anyways, others post or at least answer the poll and tell me what you think. Please. :)

Well it is all very nice work. All though some of it may be a bit sloppy, My favorite one has to be Articuno. One thing that you might find helpful is putting a drop shadow on colored text and maybe a couple 35% brushing on the text so that it has some effect to it. Also speaking of effects your banners lack them. Try using more effects to get the feeling you want/need in a banner. Maybe spice your backgrounds up with some C4D's or brush your backgrounds instead of images. Bluring might also help but that might make it look sloppy in a heartbeat so be careful. Hope I helped!
 
Very good. I'd advise to make the background less complicated. A bunch of color blends doesn't always match a tag. As c88 said, try c4ds.

C88, sometime you need to show me how to do effects on GIMP. I'm unaware of most of them and how to use them correctly. My best banner imo that features effects is the Ghost Army Banner #2. But I appreciate your help and will try to take in your advice on my next banner. Thanks. =)

Nice banners, you worked very well with the renders. I like the Galactic Titans banner a lot. Also, some 3d renders would also be nice.
 
Thanks infmach. I'm trying to do some 3D ones as well but I find them harder to render. I made a new banner tonight but I can't post it because I had a huge spelling fail on it and could not undo myself. :p

I can render 3D if you want to. Also, the banner is very nice, you added a very nice background.
 
they are very nice i like them keep trying and dont forget some colors remember the color wheel:D My favorite is the articunobanner and Inumimis banner:D:D:D

lol, I erased that banner from the post but I guess it's too late. Yeah, I spelled amidst wrong so I had to can it, but I'm glad you like it. =)

Thanks. I appreciate your comments. I made a banner for Bubba235 although he didn't request one. I just like making banners for other people especially because this one has an Arcanine, I think he'll like it. I just have to PM it to him, lol. :)

Thanks, Dialga. I'm trying to work harder on the effects I add because some of my banners are bad quality and boring. I just think the Arcanine fits in the banner so perfectly and precisely, lol. :p

But this one I'm quite proud of myself for. I think it's much improved from the older creations. I hope to make a new one in the next few days that features Porygon2 or Wartortle, one of my favorite Pokemon. :)

You know... I'll work on one now, and It will be with Azelf. :)

I'm going to make the background some sort of blue/violet aura and I'll try to find an image that can easily be rendered. I'll also add my classic black borders or a fuzzy white border that makes the edges distorted, because I can't do much more as of now. xP

Wow! I love ALL of these! And the effect on the 'Read beyond the books', with the city blurring out is great!

I have one suggestion. Use .png instead of .jpg. It makes the banner clearer. =)
