Ludicolo PL

Is he any good? I'd have to buy one card to get a semi-funcitional line. Should I?

From my experience playing against ludicolo, he centers on a combination of self healing and using his pokepower to heal even more... Perhaps a few cherrim techs and a shaymin lvX would make him playable if you want a tank that can dish out some semi respectable damage whilst healing himself..

The problem is Power Spray. His awesome pokepower says it ends your turn. Your opponent just power sprays it and your turn is down with no effect.

Agaisnt non-SP, non power stoping decks he should be pretty good.

I thought power spray would cancel the end of turn effect? I'm not sure on that one

If you are going to use Ludicolo PL, then you will have to play like 4. Why? because of his second attack. BTW, there is an article about him.

Power spray says:
"This counts as that Pokemon using its Poke-Power"

And Ludicolo says when you use that Poke-Power your turn ends.

It counts as in they can't use it again if it is a once per turn power, but if the power doesn't take effect, then Ludicolo's turn doesn't end.

it will only really work with shaymin lv.x beacuse otherwise you need to only hit for 60 to ko it.

power spray wouldn't stop the "end turn" the power being used ends the turn and power spray counts as the power being used.
