Lugia Legend

as the deck has 4 sableye and bench space fills quite quickly you lost cyclone cards and along with the odd uxie, mesprits and azelf you also put sableye in there which have been used. Then with mew prime you can use the attacks of uxie to cycle back energy and also use it for sableye's impersonate early or late game after attacking with lugia legend and discarding all 3 energy. It actually does work and its also only for fun and young gamers always like to see a shiny deck with lots of legendary pokemon.

If you go through 4 Sableye, you won't win unless you're playing a simply awful deck. Why not just run another Uxie?

you play the sableye to lost cyclone thats the point. also the reason for not playing another uxie is that they cycle themselfs and the deck thins out really quickly as it is. another uxie is not neccesary.

I didn't read the rest of the thread, but I had the same idea as GHjamesGH. The only thing I'd say is to have an army of delcattys instead of dialga. Delcatty may be a bit harder to set up, but it will require less maintenance to keep going, and Delcatty is a darn good backup attacker.

I dont know, Ive been playing this Lugia deck for about 2 months now and I really dont have a problem with using Dialgas. Delcatty might be less maintenance than Dialga, but its harder to set up, being a stage 1, and that means it also takes up double the amount of cards in your deck. With Dialgas it gives you more room for SSU and Seekers which will benefit Lugia for his P-Power, but also to heal him if necessary, and it benefits Dialga as well. Also, Dialga can put 3 energies instead of just 2 which GUARANTEES that youll have 1 of each energy, therefore guaranteed to attack. And in my opinion, the best part about Dialga is that youre not only restricted to Energy, you can take a discarded or KOed Lugia and put it on top of your deck, and then use Legend Box successfully. Which should stack tons of energy on Lugia, especially if you use Ocean Grow right after that.

Now since Ive never used Delcatty, I cant say much about it in its defense. But I can give you a few of Dialgas cons. First of all, it has a horrible retreat cost of 3, meaning if it gets stuck in active, good luck getting it back without a warp point in your hand! lol Second of all, it cant really help you attack like Delcatty because youd need a Metal Energy, which chances are youre only running 2-3 Rainbow Energies at most. And lastly, Dialgas P-Power only activates when hes put down from your hand, where as Delcatty's does not. But i find that this is problem bothers me the least since Im running tons of SSU and Seekers, and also some Junk Arms to get back whatever I need.

So your best bet is probably to try them both out and see which one fits better with your style of play.
Maybe even a mix of both? Hmm.... lol

Does Lucians work here? Play him, use his power, Lucians to move it... elsewhere, then pick him up with Seeker and play him again.

Once you come up with a way to play 2 Supporters in 1 turn without being lucky enough to have Smeargle active and your opponent having either a Lucian's or Seeker in his hand, let me know.

Well lugia legend is good with pokemon reversal or double poke blower well if you can get the energy cards on to him it is. If you use legend box and get lugia legend you can still use his poke power.

This is all crazy talk really but if you could make this work go for it.

It actually isnt crazy talk at all lol. If you read my post earlier, youd see that it isnt very hard to accomplish. As long as you play your Dialgas (or Delcattys) right, its pretty straight forward and there would be no luck involved in your Legend Box.

My Lugia deck runs tons of cards that can put cards in your discard pile, like Sage's Training, and Junk Arm, or even a KOed Lugia, etc. So its very easy to get a Lugia in your discard pile, and then use Dialgas P-Power to put Lugia + 1 energy on top of your deck, and then use Legend Box. No luck involved there, it would be a guaranteed success.

Its also not too hard to get all those cards, considering you can use sableye to get a Sages from your deck, my deck also runs 4 Dialgas & tons of SSU and Seekers so his P-Power is almost always ready to use. and i run 3-4 Legend Boxes so theres usually one lying around, if not, theres always one in my Discard pile that a simple junk arm can pick up for me. Once you get a Legend Box + Ocean Grow, theres almost no stopping you, youll be loaded with tons of energy lol

All the Sage's Training really burn through the deck, making it easy to find all the cards you need. Just make sure you have 1-2 Flower Shop Lady in there not to deck yourself out.

Honestly, if you guys have some Lugia Legends lying around, i really recommend making this deck, its such a blast to play!
