• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Standard Luxchomp tactics with Ambipom as an opener for donks. any suggestions?
 
-2 Ambipom G
+1 Luxray GL X(2-2 is always better)
+1 Dragonite FB(does much better than Ambipom, and it counters all SP's)

I'd really like a second luxray in there but just checked on ebay and saw there still sitting at around £40-£60 and very few people in my area are willing to trade/let borrow
 
ah I see, well if you get another one, you should put it in! Is Skuntank/Toxicroak G your Machamp counter? If it isn't I think you might want to add one.
 
no the toxitank is machamp counter, i saw a tourney report last night saying that champ was hitting its stride just now so put that in to counter
 
what about a mewtwo counter?

i havent seen a single machamp in my area, but lots of mewtwo x.


if thats the case, try this:
-toxicroak g
-skuntank g
+ Solrock SV
+ Lunatone SV

not only does lunatone and solrock not get hurt by mewtwo, but it forces them to place more cards, in which case you take for donks.
plus, sunshine fate has won me games. the reordering really helps.

but if this isnt the case, disregard this.
(also played luxchomp with mewtwo x IN it, watched SP scoop without them knowing i only had one psychic energy. too funny.)
 
I think you should add the "counter" Pokemon depending on what people play around you. Over here in Dallas I have seen so many people play Machamp, it's like in every deck! and I have yet to see one person who has played Mewtwo.
 
Theres only a few Mewtwo in my area and as far as I'm aware they aren't being used for Battle Roads.

Want to drop the 3 Collectors after testing they only take up space and aren't helping too much, man I miss Roseanne any suggestions for its place?
