Out of curiousity, would you consider one to be more masculine, feminine, or both?

Well For Me, Its Seems More Like a Leopard For Me. So Feminine. Everyone has different opinions, and i pick feminine. i have various reasons, but the leopard seems like my best now.

I'd have to say masculine too. I've always thought of Luxray as a lion, and since it has a mane, I consider it to look more male than female.

Masculine.

I think thats it's masculine, look in his eyes. The only female pokemon that I can think of is, Jinx and Lopuunjny and possily Vepiquen (Looks male to mez) :p

Totally masculine. It's hard to think of Pokémon as feminine to me.
Not for this person:

To me, I see them as both ways (and I'm surprised no one chose that). I suppose it's how one views them.

And I think that peoples Luxray in the game play apart in their decisions.

I see both too. I say transexual, but that's just IMO.

OMG...it has curves...

They changed the eyes though, so it looks less like a hunter, and made the ears more catlike. There's also more fur coming out in the front, the fur is more combed back, and it looks softer.

In the Video Games, Luxray is clearly a boy, and the feminine differences are much more subtle. This artwork changed the look to purposely make Luxray girlish. Based on the Pokémon's attacks and behavior, I see Luxray as a lion, whom hunts and runs through fields. Oddly, in real life, it is the mother lion who hunts, and the father lion, who is in no danger on the food chain line, who goes around and does his thing, just like defending territory or something.

i stand by my opinion.

This isn't always true, but I find that on Pokemon like Luxray (debatable gender), most women think of the Pokemon as a female, and most men think of the Pokemon as a male.

I think that Luxray is more masculine than feminine, but that is just me.

I say it's a boy. It seems like it's savage. Plus it has Intimidate, which is such a masculine ability.

Trust me, girls can be incredibly intimidating.

I usually think of Luxray as masculine, although it can be feminine, so I'm fairly neutral. :p

To me, the video games cannot portray art any better than me with a brush (and you do not want to know how bad I am); they mainly draw Pokemon to suit their battle nature. Not many Pokemon are shown as a feminine nature because it would not look suiting (for most people) for a female to battle ferociously. No one said it was the only way they could be portrayed.

Win.

Lulz to the girl intimidatingness. ._. Trust me, we girls ain't, or else we would be beatin' down dem boys, if you know what I mean.

Um, since my first Luxray was female, I tend to think it both ways. I find Pokemon that are masculine who are females generally more endearing (and vice versa).

For instance, female Machamp and male Clefairy ftw. <3
