Lv X,Secret Rare and Shiny

It's not Lv.X.

On the Pokebeach site it said the ratio for SF booster boxes was;
2 Lv.X
1 Shiny
1 Secret Rare

Seriously?I must be lucky then because i got 2 Lv. X and 1 shiny from 5 SF packs

Which ones?

And it really all depends on what Shiny, Lv.X, or Secret rare it is.

But Charizard is the rarest of SF.

Charizard Is not so rare. cause I got 2 at prerelease( 1 from Box)

Few facts:

Utility will dictate price MUCH more than rarity, though rarity does still contribute a lot. The cheapest lvl x's (almost always Dialga, much to my discomfort) still go for $10, while the most valueable shiny's tend to top at $5 (Duskull). Secret rares almost always garentee value. The cheapest, charmander, still hovers well in the $15-20 dollar range.

Still, the most valuable card in the game definately seems to be Leafeon X, which consistantly sells at my local for a good $50, even when Time Space Distortion and Charizard sit in the exact same case for $30.

If you include the * Shinies it them, since it said there only in every 3 booster box cO

Secret Rares are always the most expensive and the most rare of the bunch, when we talk of utility though, the Lv.X's (except Gigas) are far more usable and worth a bit more than the shinys and the lower forms of Charizard.

Just take a look at ebay if you want to see the spread of pricing.

Lv.X's - $35 bucks [almost always] when new unless they have hype around them.
Secret Rares - Charmander = $20/Charmeleon = $25-30/Charizard = Depends..I've seen em up to 100+..
Shinies - $10

The only reason that these secret rares are so costly is because of the Pokemon that they are made from.

Charizard, worth about $40. the Most expensive lv. X is Dusknoir and Machamp, at about $30. Where I live, Shiny Duskull and Shiny Drifloon are about $5 and Shiny Voltorb is about $8.

I bought 5 packs (not at once) but among them were Charmeleon and Shiny Voltorb. Then later, I pulled a Raichu Lv X. I must've gotten lucky?

Well the box ratio for Stormfront differs a bit with each box, I openend 2 boxes.
1 had:
-Raichu lvl x
-Dusknoir lvl x
-Shiny Drifloon
-Charmander

While number 2 had:
-Machamp lvl x
-Heatran lvl x
-Regigigas lvl x
-Shiny Voltorb
-Charizard

So meh.

I agree with what you said for the most part.

Another thing, a few of the set Lv.X's (like Heatran and Regigigas) that also have a tin version with alternate art tend to see their value plummet pretty quickly.

Shinies are getting confused with Reverse holos a bit, as I feared. PUSA should have put the *'s on them or something. I personally liked the old shinies better than these new ones.

Basically, IMO:
Lv.X / Charizard > Secret Rare + Tin Lv.X's > Shinies
