If anyone uses this deck, let me know how you get on!

I'm looking at running a similar deck, but still pretty new to the game/

can you please go into a bit of detail about your strategy and how you play the above deck?

I also tried a Lycanroc GX/ Zygarde EX / Carbink Break deck but really struggled against sylveon and obviously grass decks

thanks

Alright, with my deck i can either start with a garbodor, rockruff, or mareanie, this will affect my play style. If i start with a rockruff i attempt to power it up ASAP and use a evolution item such as timer ball and evosoda (cant use abiltiy with evosoda), then i keep powering up and use choice bands and kukis'. If i start with a trub i go the energy discard route and use acid spray and later game i use trashalanche. Mareanie is a poke that you dont want to start with, as toxapex needs 3 nrg for a decent attack, but it is possible if you use the right supporters and items

At my first glance, this deck seems deficient in a variety of areas, for example:
  • Your deck seems a bit like a "Tool Box." Was that your intent? I don't see a great deal of synergy between the Psychic Pokémon and Lycanroc GX. Please expound. By the way, I too designed and ran a similar type, "rouge" Tool Box deck that helped me earn T4 spots in 2 different State tournaments.
  • What has been the results of your early testing against some/all of the "top" decks like Garbodor variants, Metagross, Vespiquen-Zoroark, Water Box, Ninetales, etc.?
  • With only 7 Basic, there is a very good chance you'll mulligan a few times resulting in your opponent potentially drawing extra cards at game start. And with only 2 N, you may not be able to counter that advantage.
  • Further, it also seems that your "bench setup time" is quite random from game to game with only 6 card-draw Supporters , no Level or Ultra Balls, and only 2 Pokémon Fan Club. Even if you include counting the 2 Skyla in this count, you'll still have to wait 1 turn before you could use a card 1 of the other Supporters - this is precious time lost. IMO, this lack of certain key resources contributes to overall deck operations inconsistency.
  • Other than your Lycanroc GX lines, the other supporting lines might be "too thin" to battle through a complete game against an experienced player. And without any Pokémon recovery capabilities (e.g., Sacred Ash or Super Rod), you could run out of attackers as the game progresses.
  • Where are the Lysandre?? This is, without a doubt, a very, very valuable staple included in ALL (going out on a limb here perhaps, but I doubt it).
  • Why no Field Blower(s) to counter opponents' attached Tools and/or Stadium(s)? This is another key deck staple nowadays.
  • Why no Stadium (e.g., Altar of the Moone) to serve as a counter to your opponent's Stadium(s) and/or provide Retreat Cost relief for your Psychic Pokémon?
  • With over a third of your deck comprised of energy, why not run Max Elixir for energy-attachment acceleration?
  • There are no switching cards (e.g., Switch, Olympia, Float Stone) included; so, you'll likely pay, in most cases, with the attached energy to retreat your Active Pokémon. You can lose valuable time should your Active Pokémon be KOd "early" before you have another attacker powered-up.
IMO, your deck seems to have insufficient focus, slow to setup, slow to power-up and too inconsistent. I'd suggest streamlining your deck a bit more perhaps after reviewing other decks on the PokéBeach home page and in the Deck Garage. You might find those examples helpful.

And I also hope you find my comments helpful, as well.
