I need help building a better deck, im kinda new to this and don't know what to do... any suggestions?

Pokemon:
  • 2 M Charizard EX (X)
  • 1 M charizard EX (Y)
  • 1 Charizard EX
  • 1 Entei
  • 1 Eevee
  • 1 Flareon
  • 1 Umbreon
  • 2 Yveltal EX
  • 1 Kangaskan EX
  • 1 Delphox EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:
  • 1 Escape Rope
  • 1 Float Stone
  • 5 Pokemon Center Lady
  • 4 Lysandre
  • 4 Professor's Letter
  • 3 Energy Retrieval
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 1 Startling Megaphone
  • 4 Protection Cube
  • 3 Roller Skates
  • 1 Blacksmith
Energy:
  • 8 Fire Energy
  • 9 Darkness Energy
  • 1 Double Colorless Energy

First you can't have more than 4 of a single card, so you need to remove 1 PCL. Also if you could explain which Entei, Flareon, and Unbreon cards you are using, that would be helpful (just say the pack it comes from (the symbol in the bottom right will tell you) and the number of the card in the set)

A lot of the cards you have you don't really need 4 of. VS seeker is a really good card, it allows you to take Supporters from the discard, so in most cases you don't need more than 2 of any supporter.

There are also some cards you have that I would not use, here is what and why:
Professor's Letter and Energy Retrieval aren't really necessary when you have Blacksmith. Battle Compressor is a better alternative to Professor's Letter because of Blacksmith.

Switch I find to be a better alternative to Float Stone. I am also not a huge fan of Roller Skates due to the fact that you need a coin flip to use it. Pokemon is incredibly luck based as it is, no need to add more luck to it, cards like Professor Sycamore are better alternatives. Pokemon Center Lady I find to be a waste of your supporter for the turn. I also think the cards would be spent better elsewhere.

Flareon and Umbreon (regardless of which one you are using) aren't really powerful. I would take them (and Eevee) out and put in 1 more Entei and 2 Yveltal (not the EX one). Kangaskhan EX is also pretty useless, especially when you don't run the Mega. It does have it's uses, but your cards are better spent elsewhere.

You are going to want to base the deck around 1 or 2 cards, usually this will be your mega (if you use one). Thus you either want to build around Charizard X or Charizard Y. Which one you pick will have a massive effect on what will work well and what won't. I won't go into much detail, but if you are going to run X you should run Dark type pokemon as well, and if you are going with Y then you shouldn't run Dark type pokemon since it would just be easier to run X.

Note these deck ideas where made a bit hastily and it is 9 AM where I am, so these decks won't be perfect, but it gives you somewhere to start. Try them out (especially online, using simulators like TCGone.net if you don't have all the cards needed), see what works well and what doesn't.

If you decide to base your deck on X, I would go with this:
Pokemon: 12
3 M Charizard X EX
3 Charizard EX (FLF 11 or FLF 12, personally I would go with 12)
2 Entei (again which Entei it is matters, if you go with the Ancient Trait Entei (AOS 15) you might want 1 or 2 protection cubes)
2 Yveltal
2 Yveltal EX

Trainers: 32
4 Professor Sycamore (Sycamore is always the best option for draw support, you always want them in case your hand is really bad)
2 Lysandre (Lysandre is an awesome card, but 4 is a bit much, especially if you add VS Seeker)
1 Teammates (can only be used when you have just had a pokemon get knocked out, but it allows you to search for any 2 cards, which is incredibly powerful)
3 Pokemon Fan Club (pretty much all your cards are basic, PFC is good for getting basics out)
2 Blacksmith

4 VS Seeker (4 might be a tad excessive, but I always find that 4 works well)
4 Muscle Band (20 extra damage per attack is a very powerful thing and can turn what would have taken 2 turns to kill into 1)
2 Switch (gives you more options than if you use float stone, plus it leaves space for other tools. Alternatively you could use Escape Rope instead)
2 Ultra Ball (with PFC, 2 is all you really need. You also could go with heavy ball instead.)
2 Professor's Letter
4 Mega Turbo (great form of energy acceleration for megas, allows you to power up charizard quickly, or power up your other guys while simultaneously powering up charizard)

2 Scorched Earth (Good for drawing extra cards)

Energy: 16
8 Fire Energy
6 Dark Energy
2 Double Colorless Energy
------------------------------------------------------------------
If you instead base your deck on Y, I would go with this:
Pokemon: 12
3 M Charizard Y EX
3 Charizard EX (XY Promo 17)
2 Entei
2 Delphox EX
2 Blaziken EX

Trainers: 36
4 Professor Sycamore
2 Giovanni's Scheme (A new card that can be used as draw support or as extra damage, having options is always good.)
2 Lysandre
1 Teammates
3 Pokemon Fan Club
4 Blacksmith

4 VS Seeker
4 Protection Cube
2 Switch
2 Ultra Ball
2 Battle Compressor
4 Mega Turbo

2 Scorched Earth

Energy: 12
12 Fire Energy

I'm going to give you my variant of a Mega Charizard deck, Though it isn't a very viable Pokémon because the lack of a spirit Link. You will lose at least one turn. Plus it needs an enormous Set-Up. Also something you will need to include in future decks are draw supporters. With out a good hand or a way to refresh it you're going to stay behind. Professor Sycamore is a good recommendation, Shaymin EX will also help your Set-Up and is a staple in nearly every deck.

I've added Robo Subtitute and Zoroark to make it flow. With a Zoroark that has a float stone attached you will never have problem retreating. Even with conditions like Paralyze and Asleep. It can even hit for High Numbers. While you attach the necessary energy using Black Smith and Mega Turbo to M-Charizard, Robo Subtitute will take hits from your opponent. Though no price cards are taken. Your main attacker in this variant is M-Charizard. Because he deals 300 damage no Muscle Band is needed. Or any other damage modification like Giovanni's Scheme. This deck is just a suggestion. I hope you will like it and learn some new things about TCG. If you have any qeustions, please ask.

Pokémon:
  • 3- Charizard EX
  • 3- Mega Charizard EX -Y-
  • 2-Shaymin EX
  • 2- Zorua
  • 2- Zoroark
  • 1- Zoroark Break
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:
  • 4- Robo Subtitute
  • 3-Scorched Earth
  • 3-Protection Cube
  • 2-Float Stone
  • 3-Mega Turbo
  • 3-VS Seeker
  • 3-Ultra Ball
  • 2-Battle Compressor
  • 4-Professor Sycamore
  • 3-Professor Birch's Observation
  • 2-Black Smith
  • 2-Lysandre
Energy:
  • 8- Fire Energy
  • 2-Darkness Energy
  • 3-Double Colorless

^ Since you'd be running the Dark Energy, wouldn't it be advantageous to run Charizard X as well as the Y?

Pherhaps, I have no knowledge about Charizard X though. But to me it seems too risky to discard 5 cards every time you attack. You already need to discard a lot for It's set-up. But one copy wouldn't hurt I think.

^ Plus, the added HP and Fairy Weakness never hurt anyone. ;)

I dunno, though -- the fact that you can no longer Blacksmith to it is rather disappointing, though. It's an option.
