Strategy:
So the strategy for the deck is to get Xerneas out as early as possible so you can begin spreading energy throughout your pokemon to power up Mega Gardevoir's attack. You have Florges EX as well in case you have a bad hand and it acts as a decent secondary attacker.

Pokemon Line:
Xerneas - I believe that 4 is essential, especially for Mega Gardevoir decks. For a non EX basic 130 HP is impressive and Geomancy is just so valuable.
Gardevoir/Mega Gardevoir - I'm currently testing a 2-2 line over a 3-3 line. I think that nine resources (including 3 spirit links) is just so much to commit, especially since the space in fairy is tight.
Spritzee/Aromatisse - I'm unsure if 3-3 is the correct amount or not. Aromatisse is so important to setup early but I often wonder if a 3-2 is better than a 3-3 lineup. I could use some help on this decision.
Florges EX - I think this card is really underated. I love that you can easily setup a 120 damage 2 energy attack and I've had hands where the first attack is actually useful for me. Cut down to 1 for testing.

Supporter Line:
Juniper - Draw Power. Not much to say
N - Same as Juniper
Pokemon Fan Club - I personally love this card. After a few words from other players I have cut it down to 3 for play-testing.
Colress - Draw Power that is a little less reliable. Can be really powerful late game though.
Lysandre - Not much to say. Catcher effect. Good card.
Lysandre's Trump Card - Pretty much in there in case I lose a lot of fairy energy early or a way to deal with night march if they get out of control.

Stadium:
Fairy Garden - I cut this down to 3 after advice from other players. Will play with it and see how I like it.

Item Lineup:
Max Potion - Great card in combination with Aromatisse. Healing your big pokemon back to full and putting the energy back on them is very strong.
VS Seeker - Good card. Had it at 2. Will play test at 3 after advice from other players.
Ultra Ball - Nice extra search power to have. Really helpful in the beginning. Usually used however to grab Aromatisse/Mega Gardevoir.
Gardevoir Spirit Link - From what I know you run the same amount as your lineup. I could be wrong on this however. Open to suggestions.
Startling Megaphone - I think one is fine since I run dowsing machine. I can't really find the space for another one. Honestly I miss toolscrapper. It would be way better at the moment.
Dowsing Machine - I think this comes down to preference. I like dowsing machine while others might prefer computer search. I can even see someone running the scoop-up ace spec in this deck honestly.

Energy:
I only choose to run fairy energy because enhanced hammer is back. If enhanced hammer wasn't a thing then I would probably tech other pokemon and run rainbow energy.

So I am open to any and all suggestions! Any feedback is appreciated!

So far changes that were done for play testing.
- 1 Pokemon Fan Club
- 1 Fairy Garden
- 1 Aromatisse
- 1 Florges EX
- 1 Escape Rope
+1 Vs Seeker
+1 Ultra Ball
+1 Gardevoir EX
+1 Mega Gardevoir EX
+1 Gardevoir Spirit Link

Hi Voicebox,

Nice deck. consider these modifications:

- 1 Pokémon Fan Club (three suffice on usual)
- 1 Fairy Garden (three are sufficient in this deck)

+ 1 Vs Seeker (works real well in this deck)
+ 1 Ultra Ball / Repeat Ball 8search out the evolution lines)

Personally I would also run Scoop Up Cyclone over Dowsing Maschine since you already run Lysandre's Trump Card and Vs Seeker to recycle cards from the discard. It also acts as a fourth Max Potion and allows the deck to deal with Flare Tools.

Hey Dark Espeon,

Thank you for the feedback!

I was also thinking of cutting a Pokemon Fan Club for something else but was unsure of what to cut for it. A 3rd Vs Seeker in this deck seems pretty interesting. I'd have to test it to see if I like it or not at 3 in this deck.

As for the Ultra Ball / Repeat Ball suggestion, I could see this being a good idea since both of my evolutions (Aromatisse and Mega Gardevoir) play an important part of the deck. I could see cutting maybe an Aromatisse but I don't think I would run less than 3 Spritzee. If one of my Spritzees is prized and the other gets Lysandre'd and KO'ed its probably going to be a real struggle to come back from.

I won't lie I am a little nervous about taking out a Fairy Garden. Stadiums are becoming more and more prevalent and I don't run any supporters that search out a stadium specifically.

Scoop Up Cyclone is a pretty good card and I could see it being really useful. I may swap it in if I notice a huge amount of Head Ringers in this upcoming format. The fact that it is pretty much a 4th Max Potion as well is pretty awesome.

As for running a 3rd Gardevoir and Mega Gardevoir, I do have 3 of each so its something I can test out, but I would probably have to run a 3rd Spirit Link as well to support running a 3-3 line. That is a pretty bulky line that I will have to test out and see if its worth running.

I agree with Espeon's changes.

And if you want to fit a higher MGardevoir line (which I'd recommend), consider dropping 1 Aromatisse, 1 Florges EX, and 1 Fairy Garden. I understand your reservations about dropping a Garden, but with this deck you want to ride out the initial Xerneas as long as possible (until your opponent KOs it), so you won't likely need Fairy Garden until later in the game making it much easier to conserve them instead of dropping them down immediately. Take advantage of this when stadium warring.

Hey ryuninja,

Thanks for the reply!

I didn't think about that in regards to Fairy Garden. That is good point. I'll try dropping 1 for an ultra ball.
I actually liked the idea of taking out a Pokemon Fan Club for a Vs Seeker so I'll give that a shot as well.

Now I guess my next question is in regards to changing to a 3-3 line for MGardevoir. Now if I run a 3-3 line it would be best to up my Spirit Link count to 3 as well right?

So for the Pokemon I could do the following.
-1 Aromatisse
-1 Florges EX

What card would be best to add a 3rd Spirit Link in to the deck? Is it better to just not add in either the 3rd Vs Seeker or the 3rd Ultra Ball when I remove the Fan Club / Fairy Garden then to remove a whole nother card instead?

Hi Voicebox,

Consider these additional modifications:

- 1 Aromatisse (less essential than in standard fairy decks)
- 1 Spritzee (see above)

- 1 Escape Rope (need the space for Spirit Link)

+ 1 M Gardevoir Ex (main focus of the deck)
+ 1 Gardevoir Ex (needed to evolve)

+ 1 Gardevoir Spirit Link (faster Mega evolution)

Trust me that this line works real well. I use that deck for some time now since it has been released in Japan. Nevertheless watch out for Camerupt once Double Crisis is released.

Hey Dark Espeon,

Thanks again for all the help!

Which Camerupt is going to be the one that takes off? Is it Camerupt EX or the Team Magma Camerupt?

In any event I have updated my original post with the decklist with the changes that I have made. I will begin play-testing this weekend and will see how I like it.

Hi Voicebox,

Nice list. Trade one Spritzee for a second Florges Ex since it is a low cost attacker that can be used to handle Seismitoad locks and stall when the deck needs to conserve or recover energies. Worked rather well for me thus far in the last two weeks. Might consider Energy Recover over Lysandre's Trump card once it is released over here.

Combine Camerupt Ex with Magma Camerupt and four Blacksmith with the classic Vs Seeker count and Dowsing Maschine. The deck is real consistent and can be a beast.
