Hi all, this is my first post on pokebeach. I am a pokedad and have been playing since August 2014. Hopefully I can get some help with this list for the current standard bcr to ros.

2 words: Water attackers.

The ones that work are Plasma Kyurem and Articuno (Ancient Trait).

Tool Drop is a gimmick and doesn't work well. Water attackers hit Landorus for Weakness and can take advantage of Rough Seas.

Take out Center Lady. Max Potion and Super Potion are superior. 3 Battle Compressors isn't necessary nor is Mega Turbo. Drop 1 BC and the mega Turbo.

Alternatively, you could run Wobbuffet as well.

thanks for the suggestions, I dropped the mega turbo and Pokemon centre lady for a max potion. I Added in 2 kyurem plf and a suicune. I found that 2 battle compressor wasn't enough so I went back to 3. Is garbodor really that good in this deck in bcr to ros? I don't seem to even have bench space to worry about getting it out.

This thread's heading states "Standard" which I believe represents the post-rotation, or Sets XY-on. So, the Max Potion is not legal in this format. Also, I run Pokémon Center Lady in my deck due to the amount status effects techs used in my area, as well as lots of Item-locking.

@asdjklghty 's suggestion of "water attackers" is really good. I run my Manectric EX and Gabodor with Seismitoad EX (and Kyurem (PLF) - for expanded format tournaments). This is a great combo.

No, it means the current standard format right now which is bcr to ros. Which is also stated in the first post so it would be clear. Do you run dce and water energies in your build? @TuxedoBlack

I run DC, Lightning and Water energy in my build.

I think then you have to manage your bench space and carefully observe the situation and plan instead of spamming the bench then.
Suicune's Ability is nullified with Garbotoxin so I would suggest dropping that.

Yes Ability lock is necessary. Think of what it prevents: Set Up (Shaymin), Versatile (Mew), Safeguard and similar Abilities (Suicune, Sigilyph, etc), and lastly... Giratina's Ability. You'll auto lose that match up without Garbodor

I suggest not running special energy (with Flash energy that might change). One of the good things about Manectric/Garb is that it doesn't need special energies so no hammers!

And @TuxedoBlack I don't like Toad in the deck since I feel this deck functions better with higher damage and getting quick 2HKOs. And Ancient Trait Articuno makes winning faster.

Well, if I were to use toad. It would be better with the normal manectric and laserbank, so that's a different deck.
