I think a card that no one has really utilized to its full potential is Mega Mewtwo (Psychic Infinity of course) from Breakthrough. Players originally played it with Garbodor, and then they started to play it with Espeon GX. I think if we totally get rid of all of that for consistency cards, I think that Mega Mewtwo could really be a better deck than it has been in the past. I think that the way Mega Mewtwo is to be best utilized would be with Wobbuffet. Wobbuffet helps you in so many matchups with it's temporary ability lock. You can hide behind it against things such as Decidueye to prevent item lock on you, or other decks to shut off Shaymins so you can get ahead in the game, or if you can't find a Wobbuffet first turn, you Tapu Lele for a Hex. I think that was the original idea with Garbodor, just it's a lot of cards and it takes a while to set up. I've been thinking about it for a few days and here's my work in progress:

Pokemon (13)

3 Mewtwo EX (Damage Change) BKT
1 Mewtwo EX EVO (For the Energy Absorption attack to recover DCE late game)
3 M-Mewtwo EX (Psychic Infinity) BKT
1 Hoopa EX AOR
2 Shaymin EX ROS
2 Wobbuffet GEN
1 Tapu Lele GX GUR

Items (24)

4 Ultra Ball SUMO
4 Trainers' Mail ROS
1 Rescue Stretcher GUR
4 VS Seeker ROS
2 Float Stone BKT
1 Field Blower GUR
4 Mewtwo Spirit Link BKT
4 Mega Turbo ROS

Supporters (10)

4 Professor Sycamore STS
2 N FTC
1 Hex Maniac AOR
2 Lysandre AOR
1 Lillie SUMO

Stadiums (3)

2 Shrine of Memories PRC
1 Parallel City BKT

Energy (10)

6 Psychic Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy

I would love suggestions!

Well, I still think Garb is a great card in here, especially with the new one that just came out. I am personally playing this deck without Rescue Stretcher, since Super rod does that job better, particularly since you dropped the 7th Psychic Energy. I also gotta ask, what does Field Blower help with in this deck? It seems like it just takes up space and cuts consistency. And consistency is something Mewtwo NEEDS, because if a big Mewtwo gets KO'd early on or you can't get set up to begin with, you kind of just lose the game. I don't play the EVO Mewtwo-EX, but I don't think it's bad, either. At the point we're in, the meta almost forces us to play 4 stadiums, so I would add that too. I would also cut 1-2 Trainers' Mail because of the new Garbodor hype, plus N is much better early game. Here are the changes I suggest:

-1 Rescue Stretcher
-1 Trainers' Mail
-1 Field Blower

+1 Super Rod
+1 N
+1 Parallel City

The reason I suggest adding Parallel City over the 3rd Shrine is because Parallel keeps Mega Ray in check and forces Lapras/ Volcanion players to change their play style while it's in play. And also if you discard it early game, you can still get the chance to clear your bench of Hoopa and Shaymin. Another point I would like to make is that with Tapu Lele, you can attack T1 for a DCE and it does decent against Darkrai since it doesn't apply resistence. That's all for now. Message back if you're interested in seeing my list with the new Garb :)
