Pokémon - 13
  • 1 Shaymin-EX ROS 106
  • 3 Zorua BKT 89
  • 3 Zoroark BKT 91
  • 3 Mewtwo-EX BKT 163
  • 3 M Mewtwo-EX BKT 64
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums - 35
  • 1 Hex Maniac
  • 1 Battle Compressor
  • 3 Trainer's Mail
  • 1 Professor's Letter
  • 1 Switch
  • 2 Lysandre
  • 3 Dimension Valley
  • 4 Ultra Ball
  • 2 Float Stone
  • 3 Mewtwo Spirit Link
  • 1 AZ
  • 2 N
  • 2 Mega Turbo
  • 4 Professor Sycamore
  • 4 VS Seeker
  • 1 Head Ringer
Energy - 12
  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
  • 8 Psychic Energy
Strategy:

Get Mewtwo Set up as fast as possible and start racking up damage with psychic infinity. Zoroark is there to help with Regice and other pokemon that cannot be damaged by EX pokemon/ Night march. Getting Mewtwo out fast and attacking turn two overwhelms your opponent and gets quick wins.

I am looking for any tips for this deck, I would like to take it to cities. Thanks :D

Hi Pokehawks!

So after looking at this deck you should replace the following cards,

Giovanni's Scheme to me is a very gimmick-type card and is not needed in many decks and could be replaced for a better supporter.

Mega Turbo is a great card yes, but having four could lead to many dead draws and lack of support in hand so the count should be lowered.

Skyla is the same way, you're not really running anything that is important that requires Skyla and there are better choices in my opinion.

Hoopa EX is also another card in my opinion that doesn't really support this deck. I understand you are trying to get M. Mewtwo EX out, but other than that, it doesn't really help with much more than that and could potentially be a easy bench kill.

Here is what I would take out/put in,

-1 Hoopa EX
- 1 Giovanni's Scheme
-1 Hex Maniac
- 3 Skyla
- 2 Mega Turbo

And Add:

+1 Ultra Ball
+ 1 VS Seeker
+ 1 Professor Sycamore
+ 2 Trainers' Mail
+ 2 Dimension Valley
+ 1 Teammates

I hope this helps! Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that Giovanni's Scheme should go. The main reason I had those Skylas was for when I had mega turbo but needed a compressor, but I agree at least 1-2 of the, need to go. I also agree wi the hex maniac and 1 turbo leaving. As for additions I like the extra ultra ball sycamore and vs seeker, but two stadiums works relatively well in this deck. The trainers mail are for sure needed in this deck. With that in mind, do you still reccomend removing all of the Skylas cards?

Edit: Forgot to mention hoopa. Though he is a pain to start with, it always helps me to grab one mega mewtwo one normal and a shaymin for acceleration.

Skyla isn't horrible, it's more of are you able to waste a Supporter for the turn in sacrifice of draw support? If you cannot, then you may have to replace it for more draw support. If so then keep Skyla. Another good option would be Teammates as it lets you get two of any card for a Pokemon knocked out last turn.

First of all, you have 35 Trainers listed, not 34.

At first glance, your deck seems a bit "unfocused" due to a seemingly "large" mix of Trainers.

Also, there seems to be an insufficient commitment to the Zoroark line. This Pokemon is too good not to commit to a minimum of a 2-2 line. Given the current list, you are also exposed not having it available at all should either the single Zorua or Zoroark be prized.

Consider using Wobbuffet (PHF) as an alternate attacker versus Cresselia. Its Ability is fantastic and its attack (for only PC energy cost or just P when Dimension Valley is in play) will hit for Weakness.

Further, the 1 Giovanni's Scheme, 3 Professor Birch's Observations and 2 Professor Sycamore are woefully insufficient to provide solid, consistent card-draw support, IMO. Although you have 2 Shaymin EX for supplemental card drawing, its Ability can be nullified via Wobbuffet (Bide Barricade), Silent Lab and Hex Maniac.

I've found from my experience that Dimension Valley is a real asset to Psychic decks and you have an opportunity to really take advantage of this asset since M Mewtwo EX's Psychic Infinity attack has only a CC energy cost. To some degree, this reduces the need for DCEs. Remember Psychic Ifinity does not hit for Weakness. Unfortunately, most other Psychic Poke do; so, this capability gives those other Poke an advantage. By just running Basic energy, you'll nullify opponents' Enhanced Hammers too. Yes, I know that Mystery energy basically gives your main Poke 0 Retreat Cost, but you only have 1 (IMO, does not represent "strong" commitment to your strategy) in your current list.

Following are some suggested deck changes for your consideration:

-1 Cresselia
-2 Acro Bike - need to run 4 to maximize "speed" setup if that is your real intention
-1 Hex Maniac
-3 Skyla - not critical when card-draw support is currently insufficient
-1 Giovanni's Scheme - not critical
-4 DC
-1 Mystery

+1 Zorua
+1 Zoroark
+1 Wobbuffet (PHF)
+1 Dimension Valley
+1 VS Seeker - to maximize reuse of discarded Supporters
+2 Professor Sycamore
+1 Professor Birch's Observation
+4 Psychic

Other considerations:

Bunnelby (PRC 121)
Energy Recycler or Retrieval
Professor's Letter
Super Rod
Trainer's Mail

I hope you find these comments helpful.

I like this a lot! Thank you! I tried the techs from you both and I am extremely happy with the results! I used to run wobbufet but left him behind for a 2nd shaymin because he is a pain to retreat. Thanks :D

I made updates, tell me what you think!

I would consider more energy acceleration other than normal attachments and mega turbo. You could play things like solar birth volcorona or Brongzong. If you choose Brongzong, you would want to get rid of the Psychic energies for Metal energies. Brongzong I think will be a better choice because you have Zoroark to stand in, attach the energy to mewtwo, and retreat back to mewtwo. This what I would suggest:

-1 VS Seeker
-1 Teammates (Best when you have low HP pokemon as attckers. ex. night march or vespiquen)
-1 Trainer's Mail
-1 AZ (there is Zoroark with stand in)
-8 Psychic

+8 Metal
+2/2 Brongzong

If you choose something like volcorona, I would keep psychic energies and instead of brongzong add a 2/2 volcorona line.

@awesomeMSG has a cool idea with the utilization of an energy-attachment acceleration Bronzong engine. As an addendum, consider adding another Zorua and Zoroark (-2 DCE), Dimension Valley (-1 DCE), and another Metal energy (-1 DCE). Also, I'd keep the AZ which you can utilize to save a wounded Pokémon and/or recover and reuse a Shaymin EX.

There are now 35 Trainers in your list, not 36. Although you still reference Cresselia in your Strategy section, it is no longer in your list.

A few suggested changes for your consideration:

-2 Battle Compressor - although you want to get energy into your discard pile as early as possible, the 4 Ultra Balls and 4 Professor Sycamore will facilitate this objective
-1 Trainer's Mail - 3 should be sufficient, IMO

+1 Zorua
+1 Zoroark - additional, non-EX attacker which, IMO will be critical in the Night March matchup. These need to protect your M Mewtwo EXs from the opponents' Pumpkaboos which will hit for Weakness
+1 Dimension Valley - this Stadium will help you conserve your energy resources (and not be so reliant upon DCEs - which will be Hammer targets)

Lastly, test, test, and test as much as you can with different deck list combinations before the tournaments till you find the one you like most.

Yes I agree with the 3/3 Zoroark line. If your opponent only has 1 bench pokemon and you attach a muscle band, you will be knocking out pumpkaboo and joltik and with a mega manetric match up, they most of the time have no choice, but to fill their bench so you can hit for 180 with a muscle band.

Hey, thanks for all of the suggestions! I made another update to match the deck I have in hand ready for cities. I had to remove 1 shaymin because I only have one to use, and I did some edits to the trainers and pokemon. Lastly I was informed by my league leader that this tournament will be expanded.... Should I remove any cards for older supporters or an ace spec? Thanks!
