I put together my M Mewtwo Y deck shortly before a League Challenge and got 3rd, going 3-1. My list is

4 Mewtwo EX (Damage Change)
3 M Mewtwo EX (Y)
2 Trubbish
2 Garbodor
2 Shaymin EX
1 Hoopa EX

7 Psychic Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy

35
4 Ultra Ball
4 VS Seeker
4 Mega Turbo
3 Trainer's Mail
1 Super Rod
4 Mewtwo Spirit Link
3 Float Stone
4 Professor Sycamore
3 N
2 Lysandre
2 Shrine of Memories
1 Parellel City

My Matchups were all kind of against meta decks, except for maybe round 4.

M Mewtwo VS Yveltal Win
M Mewtwo VS Turbo Darkrai Win
M Mewtwo VS Rainbow Road Loss
M Mewtwo VS Typhlosion Win

The main reason I lost to rainbow road is because I only could find room for another Parellel City. Other than that and the fact we both bricked in round two it went well.

I might replace a Super rod for a 4th M Mewtwo because I never can find the super rod when I prize a mega and have to discard one early.

Any thoughts would be great!

A Very solid meta deck. not sure what to suggest but, if you find the need to make room for anything, I would suggest cutting an N Supporter. Other than that, its a great list

I was thinking about cutting a Psychic Energy for a Parellel City. I would definetly not cut an N because I dead drew way to much already.

I am just picking up the game after a long hiatus and have this deck largely built. What are some S&M cards that can be put into it so that it's competitive come regionals?

(This is my opinion so don't go crazy is you disagree)

Unless you have been playing the game for a while, or the regionals is less than an hour away, don't go. The only regional I went to (and the only one somewhat close) was terribly run. 9 rounds, and round 4 started around 3:00. You can probably tell where that day was headed. I didn't head back to the hotel until Sunday (yes it lasted past midnight).

I would stick to local Leauge Challenges untill you can make top 4 consistently. Regionals are so expensive to go to. Rooms for Philedelphia were 200 a night.
With regionals being the only way to get a good amount of CP, it comes down to how many times you want to dump $400+ into one weekend.

For a cheap deck, I would say Greninja BREAK.

By a long while, I mean 3 or 4 months. The tournament is half an hour away and I wanted the opportunity to hang out with my buddy. I am not looking for a cheap deck, I just wanted to know which cards to run since I literally have all the cards on that list and was wondering if I should pick up anything.
