I too am a big M Tyranitar EX fan, but I've found Celebi (Pr) or Hoopa (STS) to be far more efficient than Decidueye GX since neither Celebi and Hoopa are:
  • Not crippled by Garbotoxin,
  • Require fewer deck slots,
  • Facilitate faster deck setup, and
  • Reduce risk of starting with a "main" Pokémon line that are more critical.
Also, have you tested Umbreon GX (replaces the Decidueye GX line) with M Ttar?

I played with Hoops from STS before and it was ok when i started it...played 4 always started shaymin or TTar... im playing in standard format only so no celebi
I was thinking of a 3-3 umbreon gx in there but im sorta bat shoot crazy and decidueye came into play lol

if i did do Unbreon then ill have three slots open for other cards- my only problem is with my play style, i like the fact that i can get a decidueye out 1st or second turn(most games) and be dropping 20s on people while i dedicate all energy attachments to TTar

Your List sparked something in me that would really really like to try this sort of deck.
And i like my Pokèmon Lines like my arms. Thin.

So here`s what I`d do Pokèmon wise.
3 TTar
3 MTTar
1 Hoopa STS
2-1 (or similar) Eevee - Umbreon

In this case you can throw out the Rainbow energy. Throw out the Forrest and ofc the whole Clawitzer and Decidueye line.

Things you should DEFINIETLY do:

Get some Max Elixirs and/or Mega Turbos in. (How are you even running this without?) this deck is energy hungry. so Crank up the Energy count and get some of these Items in. Maybe cut down to 3 or 2 DCE. But you might wanna tinker with that a bit till it works. Crank up the Spirit Links to 4. You don't wanna miss a turn bcs of that.

This is how i would play it. (And i'll possibly will. I kinda want to now :D)

A couple of days ago I was thinking about a deck using M Tyranitar paired with Golbat to guarantee a OHKO. It was just an idea, I've never played it but maybe it helps you.

Understood... I also ran a few switching cards for that situation, as well.
im playing in standard format only so no celebi
Celebi Promo (XY 93) is still very much legal for Standard format play. This Poké has a damage counter drop attack (which can't be countered by Bench Barricade Ability), and has a "prize denial" Ability. The 1 minor disadvantage it has it that the attack requires a G energy.

Thus far, I'm finding I prefer the 4-3 Umbeon GX; the 4th Eevee is used to support either a Flareon (AOR) or Jolteon (AOR) tech. No doubt, Eevee is a preferred starter over either Ttar EX or Shaymin EX.

when you said celebi i thought you meant celebi prime totally forgot there was a black star promo out there - so decidueye line is a lil on the heavy side so ill look ijnto celebi but ill keep the rainbow in there cus basic grass is risk to me and i can get rainbow back with special charge if/and/or when celebi dies.

The abilities of the 3 eeveloutions dont affect tyranitar so umbreon takes only advantage right

also let me see what decklist you running for TTar build

Clawitzer is there for energy acceleration cus it can add second energy after attach for turn and i took out mega turbo for that reason and decidueye needed room- I played with hoopa but it was boring to me and anything less than 4 DCE is bad for TTar imo - the links yeah i had games where two of the three links was prized but i just took a cheap KO with a regular ttar to get it back - im still testing out the umbreon line so ill get back to yall on that

Bats

Bats work with him too as long as you can start them and pray they dont get KO b4 evolve or do swoop accross

I used to run a deck that was just like this but with bats instead of Decidueye. I find it to be incredibly slow and clunky. Once Mega Alakazam came out I switched to that and had way more success. Clawitzer might make it fast enough though.

Yes
also let me see what decklist you running for TTar build
The core of my deck consists of:

3 Eevee (SM1)
3 M Tyranitar EX
1 Shaymin EX
1 Tauros GX
3 Tyranitar EX
2 Umbreon GX
1 Yveltal (GEN)

The Umbreon GX count was recently reduced to accommodate another variation of the deck. In addition, I run only 12 energy: 8 Dark and 4 DCE. The remaining 34 Trainers have been revised many, many times largely due to the fact I want to take advantage of M Ttar's Ancient Trait (allows for the attachment of 2 Tools). Other than the core Trainers consisting of:

1 Lillie
2 Lysandre
3 N
4 Professor Sycamore
3 Tyranitar Spriit Link
4 Ultra Ball
4 VS Seeker

I run only 3 "switching" cards that are: 1 Float Stone, 1 Olympia and 1 Switch. The 2 Stadiums currently used are 1 Parallel City and 1 Reverse Valley. The 1 "tech" card I currently use is Hex Maniac due to encountering several Vileplume decks. The last group of cards used mainly consists of Tools such as Floral Crown, Heavy Boots, Poison Barb, etc. There are quite a few options that one can use.

By the way, have you considered using Espeon GX in order to drop 10 damage counters initially and then M Ttar just "cleans up" from that point on...

I hope you find these comments helpful. Further, if you want to share game tactics, just PM me.

I agree with Darkness. I tried running varients of MegaT. including a variant with hammers.
I've tried it with a line of Heavy Ball also.
I too found that the deck was a little slow and clunky. maybe others can get the energy cost worked out with Elixir/Turbo...
but I always found the deck inconsistently (and slower) relative to other decks.
and always susceptible to a Mega Mewtwo deck.

I miss my MTTar Bats deck. That was fun. This looks clunky though. TTar needs a lot of energy to so you really ought to have mega turbo. Scrap Clawitzer IMO. I love Tuxedo's Umbreon idea too.

man for some reason i keep getting bad draws with this deck all week....i feel betrayed

Following are some comments for your consideration:

-1 Decidueye GX? With M Ttar, do you really need a 3rd Decidueye GX? Sure, 1 could be prized, but you'll do 110+120 damage with just 1 Feather Arrow. Consider adding a Level Ball, Ultra Ball or another FoGP Stadium should you decide to test using just 2 Decidueye GX.

-2 Clauncher
-2 Clawitzer. IMO, your present deck can be a bit more straightforward by replacing the "non-critical" cards. For example, the Clawitzer line helps with energy-attachment acceleration, but it requires 2 turns to setup since it is a non-Grass Pokémon. Further, its Basic, should you ever start with it, is really not that good. Lastly, both Clauncher and Clawitzer are easy 1HKO targets. I'd suggest replacing this line with 2-3 Yveltal (Oblivion Wing) which is a solid starter and can also help with energy-attachment acceleration. Consider then adding Hoopa EX which can then get other needed EX Pokémon, especially Shaymin EX which can also provide supplemental card-draw support.

-1 Team Skull Grunt. Not critical, IMO since you'll be 1HKO'ing opponent's Pokémon. Consider replacing this Supporter with a 4th Professor Sycamore. Also, after testing, if you find that only 2 Yveltal are sufficient, then consider replacing the 3rd suggested Yveltal with either a Level Ball or Professor Kukui.

-1 Float Stone. IMO, 2 should be sufficient. Consider adding another Rainbow energy for the 3rd Float Stone replacement.

On the other hand, following is a different set of ideas:

-1 Decidueye GX
-2 Clauncher
-2 Clawitzer
-1 Team Skull Grunt
-1 Float Stone

+1 Yveltal (Oblivion Wing) or Hoopa EX
+2 Zoroark - another D, non-EX attacker that can also get unwanted/unneeded Pokeémon out of your active position
+2 Zorua (Moonlight Madness)
+1 Professor Sycamore
+1 Ultra Ball

I hope these comments help.
