and imo you didn't really act like new town.

Look at past games to try to find out what scum often did, and then try to point that out. If you find a lot of scummy things, turn it into a case.
That is a extreme scumtell. You shouldn't be afraid of how you look. Contribution is the most important thing.

There we go. That's how I usually play. Seriously, look at any other game I've played in. Being quiet can be a scum tell, but not that much of one imo, and reading over my posts I don't think I'm being too analytical.

I have a town read, because I feel he didn't want to be in the position and didn't act like scum at all, but more like a sub who is confused and surprised

As others have said, you only come on during spotlight moments, like right before you get lynched or modkilled...
