Guiding questions:
1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
5. How's the artwork?
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

(1). Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
O.K. Hp, Terrible Retreat cost, resistance, and weakness.

(2). Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
Rhyperior Lv.X has a way better version of Hard Crush, and Mantle Bazooka is just terrible.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Maybe use it with Emboar from the upcoming BW sets. It would be able to use Mantle Bazooka every turn, then.

4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
This card is so horrible that you don't need to tech for it. You also don't need to run any techs with it, because you shouldn't run it at all.

5. How's the artwork?
Awesome. Best thing about this card.

6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
2/5 Only because of the artwork.

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
all these stats are pretty standard for a Stage 1 that doesn't have a Stage 2 after it. the retreat cost is manageable even without unown Q
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
its first attack is where it can really shine
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Decatty and ninetales, decatty's pokepower lets you place discarded energy on top of your deck, while ninetails can be used early game for draw power and energy dump for decatty's power
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
its water weakness really needs to be dealt with, more than likely with Exploud's poke body.
5. How's the artwork?
FANTASTIC. I love the lens flare while looking onto the barrel of his arm. 9.5/10
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
3.5/5 it has a potential to do ridiculous amounts of damage. it would be a 4 if it didn't have a X2 weakness, but this is the format now.

1. The HP is fairly good. The weakness is bad because of Gyarados, and the Retreat Cost is OK.
2. Hard Crush is OK, but Rhyperior LV.X can do almost the same thing for no Energy. Mantle Bazooka is all right, but Charizard SF can do the same thing for {C}{C}{C}{C}, and so can Ho-oh LEGEND (with only 1 discard!).
3. Fisherman and Junk Arm can get back some of the discarded cards.
4.Exploud SV can take away the Weakness.
5. It's OK. 3/5
6. 2.8/5. It has some potential, but there are other cards that can do the same things better, and all of its attacks require discards.

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
110 HP on a stage 1, 2 retreat cost, and Water x2 weakness. All in all, pretty good solid stats for a stage 1.
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
First you've got Hard Crush, lets you mill 3 cards from your deck, and do 50 damage per energy discarded. Mantle Bazooka is not needed. I lol at anyone who says Rhyperior LV.X is better at using Hard Crush; they fail to take into account that Rhyperior LV.X is a Stage 2 LV.X and takes a long time to set up (the only time that Hard Crush is used is in Mewperior; a straight-out Rhyperior deck will usually be using Raging Drill all the time instead), whereas Magmortar can get set up almost instantaneously. That, and Magmortar only mills 3 cards instead of 5, which isn't as big of a detriment.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Either Delcatty PL (Power Circulation) or Dialga PL (Reverse Time). Use the Power to get Energies back on top of your deck, and that will give a guaranteed 100 or 150 damage each time Hard Crush is used. 3 cards are a lot easier to recycle than 5.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Maybe Exploud SV, definitely Delcatty (to keep fueling its attack), and maybe DCE (to get it attacking faster).
5. How's the artwork?
What Carlitos said =D
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
3.5/5. I understand it's far from being a meta deck, but it's got enough strength on its side to be a good feasible deck. Easy to set up, fun to play, and the artwork is to die for. In short, it's what we love in a Pokemon card!

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).this card has standard stats for a stage 1
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies). both of the card attacks have alot of potential but by themselves they also are just average
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?dialga from platinum to stack the top of your deck with energies, to ensure 150 damage also of course emboar when it comes out will support mantle bazooka's energy discard cost. heatran lvx hels here too
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points? it has no major downfalls, so i guess unown q to combat its retreat cost
5. How's the artwork?the back drop is out standing
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).3.5/5 its an average card that actually has support that makes it above average. and it needs to be above average to compete.

This card isn't bad. Two retreat cost weighs it down a bit, but in the optimal deck in which to include it, it becomes less of an issue. 110 HP for a Stage One is pretty great, it's hard to get that much HP on a non-prime Stage One. It's typing is pretty great too, taking down Steelix Primes and Dialga G LV. X's quickly, and being weak to water isn't so much of an obstacle because Kingdra isn't really run and other Water decks aren't played very much either. The fact that is has no Pokebodies or Pokepowers is a blessing and a curse. Generally Pokebodies and Pokepowers tend to have the most potential, and don't require Energy to use as well. However, with Glaceon LV. X, Mesprit LA, Power Spray, and Dialga G LV. X, it is getting harder and harder to use Pokebodies and Pokepowers, so it is nice that all of its potential must necessarily come from its attacks. Speaking of its attacks, it has a couple of pretty nice ones. Mantle Bazooka is not that great, although discarding 2 Fire Energy is easy to make a small problem and 100 damage is a pretty great amount of damage, KOing SP Pokemon LV. X's with an Expert Belt, Flash Bite, or Spray Splash. However, it is really Hard Crush that has the most potential. Used together with Delcatty from Platinum, it has great potential to deal 150 damage consistently each turn. This is best done with Ninetales from Heartgold Soulsilver or Call of Legends, not only to set up but also to get Energy into the discard for the initial Hard Crush (Instead of just gambling until they are in there). Since with two Delcatty one can finance a full Hard Crush and another to draw next turn to use with Ninetales, it is not a problem to simply discard Fire Energy to retreat to Seeker or for other purposes. This deck is relatively Pokepower reliant, so Dialga G LV. X could be a tech just in case one faces against a Glaceon LV. X, but that isn't that huge of a problem. I wouldn't include the Dialga G LV. X line. One may have a problem getting out Magmortars fast enough against a Gengar deck constantly flipping heads on Fainting Spell, not to mention how incredibly vulnerable a Ninetales and two Delcatty are to Bright Look, Dragon Rush, and Shadow Room. I really like the art, it matches the Holographic foil so well and really portrays Magmortar well. 4/5. Final rating: 4. It is great, but with the current fast/cheap/quick/easy prize with Gengar and SP's metagame, it is a bad fit.

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
110 HP on a stage 1 is awesome, especially since it's not Prime. Weakness sucks, but that's to be expected. Retreat cost is pretty good for a Magmortar card(the SW version retreats for 3).
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
Hard Crush is awesome, and when you pair it with the right Pokemon, can be even better. The fact that it has no Poke-Powers/Bodies means that Umbreon can't wall it. I'm a huge fan!
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Delcatty PL is the best partner here. Try to get 2 in play so you can Power Circulate for 4, hard crush for 150, and provided you don't get Judged or anything like that, draw into your {R} energy next turn and discard it for draw power.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Nothing really, just keep hitting through anyone with less than 160 HP. You really don't need Expert Belt in this deck, so even if you die you won't be giving up too many prizes. Rescue energy could be used if you're really worried about losing Magmortars, but DCE is better.
5. How's the artwork?
I like the UL artwork better. 3.5/5
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5. I don't care if it's not used that much. The fact that if set up right, you can hit for a consistent 150 means it's alright in my book. Plus it's Magmortar, so it's automatically amazing! I'd really think this card had a lot of potential after SP's/Gengar were gone if it wasn't for the fact that Delcatty PL will most likely go with them. So that'll probably be the death of the deck.
