Ruling Magmortar question

The Level x says I can use any of the previous poke powers or attacks.

Does this mean I can use more than one of the Poke Powers.
For instant-- can I use the Poke Power from Magmortar stage 1 to attach a fire energy and remove two damage counters and then use the LV_X Poke power to burn one of the defending Pokemon, or am I limited to just useing one of them.

I HAVE A SECOND QUESTION --If I have more prize cards than my opponent and use a scramble energy, do I get to use the Poke Body as times three. In orther words, it says to remove 2 damage counter for a fire energy, so since a scramble would be 3 fire energy, do I remove 6 damage counters?
Thanks,

Ken

The answer to your second question would be no. That's because it has to be a Fire Energy card, not an Energy cards that can provide Fire Energy. So, it wouldn't even remove 2 damage counters.

Thanks for your help!!!

One last question. I know a double Rainbow energy takes 10 away from the attack. Let's say I have two regular and one double rainbow energy for an attack that requires 3 energy cards. Since one of the energy cards is a Double rainbow , It would take 10 away from the attack.

Next turn, I attach a 4th energy card (regualr energy not special) to my Pokemon, Now even with the double rainbow I would have the three regular energy cards for the attack, so I wouldn't have to take off the minus 10 correct?

If Magmortar is the Pokemon, I assume I could use the attack for the full 40 to the defending Pokemon and 20 to two differrent Benched Pokemon or I would have 3 reg energy cards plus 1 Double Rainbow, so I could use a total of 5 x 20 for each energy for Magmortars other attack if I wanted to. Total of 100 damage!!!

Thanks for you help,

Ken

As long as DRE is attached, all attacks -10 damage. This applies even if you have more than the necessary energies needed.

yes you can! my judges at cities did research on the web for hours and found out the answer but i don't know about the scramble thing i'll post it on the gym

Actually it would count as 1 Fire Energy Card, as it states Fire Energy Card, the same goes for Double Rainbow. As long as you are behind in prizes, it will count towards the body

Scramble activates Flame Body if you're behind on prizes when you attach it.

You only remove 2 damage counters, though. Flame Body says to remove 2 "when you attach a [Fire] Energy card". Scramble is still just one card, even though it's providing three Energy.

I have my own question regarding Magmortar. When attaching one DRE to a Magmortar, and it uses Magma Blast, Does it do 2x20-10=30 damage? Basically, for every DRE I attach, I add 30 more damage?

Yes. DRE provides 2 Fire Energy, so it increases Flame Blast by 40. You then subtract the 10 for DRE at the end of the damage calculation.
