Magnezone has had alot of hype lately being paired with feraligatr and regirock last season while this season it has shacked up with ability emboar and yanmega prime. As you all should know magnezone is such a great card not only because of its great hp and attack perfect for an ohko centralized meta. It is magnezones pokepower that makes this cards stand out from the crowd of heavy attackers in this format. Magnetic draw can add much needed consistency to decks in this slow format.
Magnezone's attack 'Lost Burn' alows you to place as many energy cards attached to any of your pokemon into the lost zone in exchange for 50 damage to the opponents active for each energy lost zoned this way. I have bolded the key wording of this attack that makes this card one of the best in the format. The energy used to power magnezone's attack can come from any of your pokemon. This has already been used to great effect by ability emboar that can attach as many {R} energy that are in your hand to any of your pokemon.
However this post is not going to talk about magneboar, it is going talk about how you can get energy onto your pokemon so that you can lost burn 3 energy every turn once you have your magnezones setup.

Pachirisu alows you to use it's 'self generation' pokepower to attach 2 {L} energy from your hand to pachirisu. This power has already been used to great effect in the deck ZPS, but pachirisu can also be used with your manual attach for the turn to get 3 energy on the field to lost burn consistently.

Floatzel can be used with magnezone to use it's 'Water Acceleration' pokepower to attach a {W} energy from your hand to floatzel every turn. When you have two floatzel on your bench you can lost burn 3 energy every turn and when you have 3 floatzel setup you can use your manual attach to setup your next magnezones.

Post your thoughts below on which pokemon can be partnered with magnezone and whether you think pachirisu could compete with emboar for the place by magnezone's side. Just remember that pachirisu is only a basic and that floatzel is a stage 1 while emboar is a stage 2.

I'd rather have 2 stage 2's than 1 stage 2, 3 stage 1 and some pachis. The rare candy makes emboar not a problem to get out combined with magnezone's power. It's not a bad idea because they do have synergy but there are better ideas.

On the other hand, it might work out when Pokemon Catcher gets released. YanmegaZone especially could make use of Pachirisu I think. I also think these two pokemon were separate concepts: Magnezel or Magnerisu, not both in one deck.

^ yes I put the concepts out there as separate decks, I must not have made that clear in the original post sorry for misleading anyone. I also thought about adding abit about feraligtr but I didn't know what to say other than emboar is better in every way unless you need to run a deck that uses {W} energy. One other thing I nearly put into the original post is the elektrick on the main page.
Translation:
Eelektrik - Lightning - HP90
Stage 1 - Evolves from Tynamo

Ability: Eelekidynamo
Attach a Lightning Energy card from your discard pile to one of your Benched Pokemon. You can only use one Eelekidynamo Ability per turn.

[L][L][C] Lightning Ball: 50 damage.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2
It could help pachirisu but I cant think of any way other than running engineers, junkarm or juniper to put those energy into the discard consistently.

Pachirisu is one of the better techs to pair with Magnezone prime seeing as against most of the beefy pokemon you have to burn 3 energy to OHKO a majority of them and you really don't want to leave Magnezone vulnerable for 2 turns (unless you switch to a Yanmega). drop a pachy, self generate 2 {L} energy and maunally attach 1 energy and lost burn for a comfortable 150 without leaving your opponent a chance to recover next turn.

It works extremely well in Magnezone/Yanmega.
